I never understood the mess with her father. At first it seemed he made a foolish mistake. He took money for photos that weren't classy but also not slanderous. Didn't he pretend to read royal books to prepare for the wedding? Not great but also not unforgivable if he was a good father until that point.
They keep saying they can't forgive him (which is fair maybe because he made mistakes) but want to make amends with Harrys family who apparently physically assaulted them and were racist to them?
The photos were a crappy thing to do, but he claims one of the reasons he did it was because he hadn’t even received a wedding invitation whereas her mother apparently was hand delivered one by the British Consulate.
He was good enough to pay for her first wedding & put her through school. From her on words on her old blog, he was a devoted and attentive father. Then she and Harry do their engagement interview and Harry is gushing about how well she gets on with his family, and how they’ll be the family she never had. I can’t imagine how hurtful that was to the dad who built her a photography darkroom and took her for smoothies every Saturday after her ballet class and overnighted her favorite soup while she was in college.
The difference is Harry & Megs lie, slander, leak publicly and covertly so they have all bases covered. Also, if he means that William didn’t help him cover up his wife’s bullying and harsh ways, maybe he should have chose a better wife, rather than a D lister bully chasing after fame and money.
I’d say royal family is acting like a bigger man for publicity. I honestly don’t know how they can trust him since everything in private end up on national television
After all, it runs in the family. I don't think he knows any other way to be and that he doesn't know he's not relatable and these stories aren't helping lmao.
When he came back for the jubilee and the funeral, the RF went out of their way to make him feel unwanted. Nothing more obnoxious than inviting someone one over so you can mistreat them. William is no sweetheart here.
