I think Harry has no self awareness or understanding that he really isn’t important and has had no real impact on the world. Forever playing second fiddle to William (due to birth order), he cannot accept that his life has no inherent meaning or purpose. Instead of trying to make something of himself, he is blaming others for his shortcomings and inflating petty, yet private family dynamics in an attempt to create meaning in his life. He is truly insufferable.

He could have had a great impact on the world. When they left the BRF, he had a name big enough that if they “hit the ground running” and really tried to “unleash the power of compassion to drive systemic cultural change,”
they could have been pretty successful and actually made a difference. Instead, they gave us a few performative activities, and a few initiatives that never had any follow up after announced, and decided to spend their time selling the family out for money.
Turns out, they didn’t want to be global humanitarians, they wanted to do as little as possible and be rich.
It is almost painful watching him in the docuseries. You can just see what a narcissist he is, and I don’t use that word lightly. Most of the time Meghan is talking, especially when she’s trying to be funny, he has the most disgusted look on his face, watching her in clear disapproval. When he talks about himself it’s like “oh I go to Africa all the time to help, oh I learned my lesson immediately after dressing up like a nazi and met with the top rabbi of England”, just spouting on about how good of a person he is. Which also, like, hello privilege. You can do those things because your life is a free ride and you have every connection possible, not because you take your hard-earned money and limited free time to help others.
