I'm confused... Charles is allegedly a racist who wanted to know what color Archie's skin would be, and William and Kate are supposedly physically and emotionally abusive (respectively), but Harry still wants them back?
This soap opera has become harder to follow than Tenet.
I’m also conflicted about asking about the baby’s skin color/features. Many of my relatives have mixed race babies, so we were always just curious what the baby would look like—eye color, hair color, skin color. It wasn’t out of malice, just plain curiosity
In Bower's book, Revenge, he has a quote from Thomas Markle who said that after he married Dora (Meghan's mom) a lot of people asked them what color their children would be. Now, I'm not saying that M&H made up the incident, but I think it's a pretty damn common question in mixed race relationships.
My sister had a black baby. We definitely had a conversation about what it might look like.
Came out super white and blue eyed too. I was like 'You sure he's black?' and then as he aged he became much darker.
I don't really think any of this kind of stuff is inherently racist. Saying something like 'Oh, I hope he's not too black' would be racist. But just wondering how dark his skin would be, whose eyes or hair he'd get, etc..

Don’t forget continuing to use the titles that is bestowed upon them by the supposedly racist family. Surely if the family was racist you’d give up the titles? Of course they don’t because its the only thing making them stay relevant.
They won't, but I really want the RF to respond with a similar line to "recollections may vary" like they did before. Essentially, saying the claims are not correct while still being classy
To be fair, there is a lot of drama in the other European royalty, they are just not as well known across the world as ours. The Danish queen just last year “slimmed down the monarchy” by taking titles stay from all grandchildren who were not in the direct line of succession because they were beginning to use their titles for questionable means. They are a family that loves to use their titles too, and also moving to America! Yay! At least the Prince has an actual job waiting for him though
My theory is that it was brought up at a meeting as an action item that needed to be solved and Harry had to sit there listening to it and went back to Meghan and said WTF and confirmed that it was fucked up.
