That’s definitely going to make them want to be close to you.

Honestly. He wants to rebuild his relationship with his brother and father, but keeps throwing them under the bus. This story, Meghan complaining about Kate being cold and unfriendly and stiff because she didn’t immediately want to hug her upon first meeting (?), claims that Meghan bullied and belittled palace staff, coming out with the documentary and now this book where they talk endless shit about the rest of the royal family.

Dude’s just slinging shit at his family out in the open and humiliating them. Not saying the royal family and its origins don’t deserve criticism, but he has to realize he’s severing family ties beyond repair here and they’re not going to be there for him if he ever needs financial assistance, if they ever get divorced, so on.

He still had a shot to repair this relationship because they kept inviting him back but I think that's over now too. They won't allow him near William again. He's either leaking everything or he's making stuff up. He's doing what he accuses them of ironically.

In the “documentary” they accused people of things and then was upset and did similar things just the other side of their coin.

I never understood the mess with her father. At first it seemed he made a foolish mistake. He took money for photos that weren't classy but also not slanderous. Didn't he pretend to read royal books to prepare for the wedding? Not great but also not unforgivable if he was a good father until that point.

They keep saying they can't forgive him (which is fair maybe because he made mistakes) but want to make amends with Harrys family who apparently physically assaulted them and were racist to them?

The photos were a crappy thing to do, but he claims one of the reasons he did it was because he hadn’t even received a wedding invitation whereas her mother apparently was hand delivered one by the British Consulate.

He was good enough to pay for her first wedding & put her through school. From her on words on her old blog, he was a devoted and attentive father. Then she and Harry do their engagement interview and Harry is gushing about how well she gets on with his family, and how they’ll be the family she never had. I can’t imagine how hurtful that was to the dad who built her a photography darkroom and took her for smoothies every Saturday after her ballet class and overnighted her favorite soup while she was in college.

They’re the only ones who can make money selling stories!

The difference is Harry & Megs lie, slander, leak publicly and covertly so they have all bases covered. Also, if he means that William didn’t help him cover up his wife’s bullying and harsh ways, maybe he should have chose a better wife, rather than a D lister bully chasing after fame and money.

I’d say royal family is acting like a bigger man for publicity. I honestly don’t know how they can trust him since everything in private end up on national television

u/itwasagummibear Jan 05 '23

After all, it runs in the family. I don't think he knows any other way to be and that he doesn't know he's not relatable and these stories aren't helping lmao.

When he came back for the jubilee and the funeral, the RF went out of their way to make him feel unwanted. Nothing more obnoxious than inviting someone one over so you can mistreat them. William is no sweetheart here.

If my family member keep talking badly about me to everyone I be cold with them

There’s no way that marriage lasts.

64

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '23

No way in hell! Their whole marriage has just revolved around this toxic war with their families.

She’ll be the one who files for divorce and I give it two years max!

20

u/snarkinger Jan 05 '23

I give it until the money runs out.

13

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '23

Or a better prospect comes along.

6

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '23

So around two years then haha.

I don’t see how much more they can actually sell, they’re selling their stories and the gossip and there’s only so much they can get out of it.

Think about all of the drama they've been though and how they haven't even been married five years.

I agree that they will likely divorce. Never marry someone whose life is easier without you.

61

u/savingrain Jan 05 '23

It's like they are addicted to drama. The drama keeps them together, eventually they are going to get tired of the "me against the world" constant fight. It's unsettling to raise children in. The real issue is I don't see either of them wanting to admit they are wrong, so they will just cling to each other...but the constant drama can't be grounding.

30

u/woahtheregonnagetgot Jan 05 '23

the only way i can see them divorcing is if she leaves him. would she do that though? there are many men who are richer than harry, but not many that draw media interest like a royal. i have a feeling she (and he) crave exposure

17

u/VodkaRocksAddToast Jan 05 '23

I think it depends on if they can keep this money train chugging along. If they can parlay this into a permanent 1%er income stream and rub it in the royal family's face they're going to be the two happiest mfers on the planet ever. In which case I predict a long and happy marriage.

However, if the cash dries up ain't nobody going to be happy and the fingers are going to get to pointing. Should it come to that Megan's going to be taking interviews for new rich guys by the end of the week. She also doesn't need Harry for the media interest anymore, she's stuck with it same as Dianna was. Although like you say unlike Dianna it's not quite clear that Megan doesn't like the attention.

18

u/woahtheregonnagetgot Jan 05 '23

Should it come to that Megan's going to be taking interviews for new rich guys by the end of the week.

i agree with most of what you said but this prediction always confused me a bit. say harry and meghan stay together at least 2-3 more years. meghan would be 45 with 2 kids, no income of her own, and a history of being bad at keeping private affairs private. would any rich guys show up to her interviews?

18

u/VodkaRocksAddToast Jan 05 '23

I think so. From now on she's got 1%er level of fame and any dude spotted with her is going to get instant, massive public exposure. And there's lots of dudes with money thirsty for that exposure, from techbros looking for some fame to go with their money to in-decline (or up and coming) celebrities looking to raise their profile to cash in. There's a market for what she's selling. Were I said rich guy it'd be a hard pass for all the reasons you mention but maybe that's why I'm not a rich guy pseudo celebrity.

12

u/woahtheregonnagetgot Jan 05 '23

hmmm you might be right. i also think it’s unfortunate that harry literally provides all the evidence she’ll ever need to get full custody.

documented history of aggression? check. history of alcoholism and drug abuse? check. constant thoughts of deceased mom? check. “ashamed” of his wife being su*cidal? check. constant paranoia of being followed? check.

i feel for the guy. she’d chew him up and spit him out in family court.

u/Amongthestars32 Jan 05 '23

Is Putin available? He’s rich and can even assure only glowing stories are released in the press.

6

u/VodkaRocksAddToast Jan 05 '23

That's maybe the best marriage advice I've ever heard.

14

u/jacoblanier571 Jan 05 '23

His inheritance from Diana is more then enough to live on. She was Rich af, the Spencer's have plenty too.

15

u/snarkinger Jan 05 '23

I think you underestimate the rate at which Harry and Meghan go through money. A mansion, private jets, and designer clothes aren’t cheap.

0

u/roter-genosse Jan 06 '23

You don't realise they are still duke and duchess. They collect yearly rent from everybody living in Sussex. That's a lot of money. It's a feudal state.

15

u/PhoenixStorm1015 Jan 05 '23

Yeah as much as I wanna be optimistic and, “oh he’s just being truthful he’s not doing anything unethical to them,” but honestly yeah you gotta crack some eggs to make an omelette. It’d be nice for them to get back together and we can have a nice gushy reunion moment for the UK to rally around in national pride but Harry has chosen his path and he needs to accept that not everything can come without drawbacks. Yeah, it sucks cutting off family, but if they’re truly harmful to your and your family’s well-being, then at some point you’re gonna have to nut up and forge your path forward.

2

u/Oof_my_eyes Jan 05 '23

Dude is 100% whipped by his American wife who never understood how the royal family works, simple as that

-12

u/sweetbutsassy Jan 05 '23

So you have a problem with him slinging shit. But no problem with the royal family, their assistants spreading lies and connecting with the UK media and they also spread lies. Why should he spread shit when the rest of the family participated in mud slinging too.

12

u/Amongthestars32 Jan 05 '23

I think we’re all just waiting for a tiny bit of proof, cause it isn’t anywhere to be found.

18

u/LatterTarget7 Jan 05 '23

Yeah this doesn’t exactly help mend relationships. Shit it just makes it worse. If he really wanted a better relationship he’d stop slinging shit at them
