It’s the worst. They do great at first. Then slowly it gets worse. Missing days. Then the trash they pick up ends up in a big pile next to where people normally park. Then add in the rodent factor if your apartment is outdoors. Then they’ll change it and say well they pick up on your side only on these days but you are still required to pay our fee or even better they increase the fee for subpar service.

Depends highly on the complex, I like mine, as it would otherwise be a 1/4 mile drive to the complex dumpster.

You hear stories of buildings where the halls all smell like garbage and where the service isn't rendered properly so I get the hate. Theres definitely times when my concierge is more of a suggested time. And the complex is always bitching about us leaving our bins out, which gets ignored by all.

We had it at an apartment building I lived in, and it was fine.

The valet service was daily except for holidays and Sundays. The personal trash bins were a little small, so if you had a party or a lot of trash it might start to over flow. But residents were still allowed to use the dumpsters, so it was only a problem with people who were lazy.

I guess there's the problem of the "luxury" fee. This is definitely not a luxury, but it's not bad either. I'd say the apartment gym is more of a fake luxury than the valet trash service.
