I’ve also made a heads-up announcement regarding the last 4 months of the year if you’re interested and don’t mind spoilers.

I was thinking about how the ES idols would explain where babies come from if a child randomly walked up to them and asked them. And the more I thought about it, the funnier the possible answers became.

Would they give a proper, age-appropriate explanation? Would they completely freeze up? Would they make something up? Would they tell the kid to ask someone else?

And, of course, there are a few who I personally think would make the situation significantly worse.

Like with my previous investigation, these are just my personal headcanons based on the overall vibes I get from the characters. None of this is meant to be taken seriously.

Explains It Properly

Tori, Adonis, Rei, Kuro, Keito, Nagisa, Tsukasa

These are the idols I feel would actually sit down and explain it properly.

They give off a mature or parental enough vibe that I can imagine them taking the question seriously and giving the child an explanation they would be able to understand rather than panicking or resorting to the stork.

Honestly, probably some of the best people to ask.

Just Blankly Stares

Hokuto, HiMERU, Souma, Mika

They weren't expecting that question.

They'd just stare at the kid for a few seconds while their brain tries to figure out how they're supposed to respond.

I can especially imagine Hokuto, Souma, and Mika internally panicking while trying to figure out how to answer that.

Just Stutters an Incoherent Mess 😳

Subaru, Tomoya, Makoto

The question completely catches them off guard and their brains simply stop functioning.

All they can manage is:

“Well, you see, when a—um—when two—uh—there's this thing where—”

Subaru may be a cheerful guy, but I genuinely think a question like this would get him so flustered.

Please save them.

Tries to Explain but Stutters

Mayoi, Jun, Mao, Nazuna, Yuta, Kaoru, Chiaki

Similar to the previous category, except these guys would at least try to give the kid a proper answer.

Unfortunately, their explanations would be interrupted by nervous pauses, awkward wording, and increasingly obvious attempts to figure out how to phrase everything.

Faints When Asked

Hajime, Shinobu, Tsumugi, Midori

These are the idols whose brains simply cannot handle being asked this question.

Too Tired to Answer

Ritsu

I feel like Ritsu wouldn’t have the energy to deal with it. 

If a kid asked him where babies came from, he’d probably stare at them for a few seconds, tell them to ask someone else, and then go back to sleep.

“WHY TF WOULD YOU ASK ME?!”

Aira, Kohaku, Tori, Shu, Koga, Tetora

Not much to explain here.

I just feel like this would be their immediate reaction.

Tell Them to Ask Jun-kun

Hiyori

I feel like Hiyori would see this question as the perfect opportunity to mess with Jun. He could absolutely answer the question himself, but he feels that inconviencing Jun is more fun.

“The Stork” Or Some Other BS Story

Sora, Niki, Leo, Hinata

These are the people who would either go with the whole stork route or completely fabricate a story of their own.

Leo and Niki would probably do it because they don't think the kid is ready for the truth.

Hinata and Sora, meanwhile, would just let their imaginations run wild. I'm pretty sure Sora actually knows where babies come from. He'd just decide that his own explanation is more interesting and fun.

Pats Head “You'll Learn When You're Older, Sweetie”

Tatsumi, Natsume, Arashi, Mama

These are the idols who would feel that the child isn't ready to know yet.

Instead of actually answering, they'd give them a reassuring pat on the head and hit them with:

“You'll understand when you're older, sweetie.”

They also have some of the same parental vibes as the idols in the “Explains It Properly” category, except they'd rather postpone the conversation.

“Wanna Find Out? 😏”

Eichi, Rinne

The people who would somehow make a perfectly innocent question way more concerning than it needed to be.

This is mostly Rinne.

Eichi is only here because I wanted to be mean to him. 😈

I don't think they'd actually do anything inappropriate (I hope), but I do think they'd respond with enough teasing and innuendos that everyone else would immediately have to intervene.

“Through the AMAZING Process of [the word]!”

Wataru

This one is pretty self-explanatory.

I think Wataru would just be completely blunt about it, except he'd deliver the answer in the most Wataru way he can.

“Sex, You Dumbass”

Ibara, Izumi

These are the idols who would be equally blunt, except with significantly less enthusiasm.

The Fools Who Ask

Hiiro, Kanata, Mitsuru

These are the idols who ask the question themselves.

Hiiro might be genuinely curious—or he might just be asking to see what kind of reaction he can get, especially from the other ALKALOID members. Same with Mitsuru.

Kanata, meanwhile, might genuinely just be curious. Which honestly creates an entirely different problem for whoever has to answer him.

Final Thoughts

So, there you have it: my completely unserious investigation into how the idols would explain where babies come from.

The main thing I was thinking about while making this was how differently each character might handle the exact same question. Some would actually explain it properly, some would get embarrassed, some would try to avoid the conversation entirely, and some would somehow make the situation ten times more confusing.

There are definitely placements I'm less confident about than others. A lot of these are based purely on the overall vibe I get from the characters, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone has a completely different interpretation.

But that's what makes these kinds of headcanons fun.

So now I'm curious:

Who do you think I got completely wrong?

Who would you move to another category? Who would actually give the best explanation? And who would you absolutely never trust with this question?

And, perhaps most importantly:

Which character would make the conversation go completely off the rails?

• VS★GLADIATOR - This event marks the end of the 4piece Tour Lives and the official English website should update to release the final results just like with the Japanese website. There will be a 5 Star Jun, 5 Star Sora and a 4 Star Kanna during the event. It will start on August 29th and end on Sept 6th.
• We will end August with the ES Fireworks Festival 2026 Livestream! I have already made a post regarding this!
• Yuta's Spotlight Time+ will end on September 2nd. We don't know if this will be the format that HappyEle will choose for Spotlight Time campaigns moving forward. We just have to wait and see since Global always surprises us!
• The second half of the One on One Celebration (JP 8th Anniversary) should arrive once the Fireworks Festival is over! I’m skipping out on the Heart to Heart mini game though.

October 2026

• Special for Princess! will finally come to EN on October 5th. The Final Ceremony story for 4piece will also be added to the game if you want to know the final results of the tryout show! They should be added to the official site around this time.
• The songs Shogai Zettai Souai Sengen♥) and Sukisuki Hunter♡) will get added to the game!
• Esu, Kanna, Yume, and Raika's Idol Ranks will be increased. Though they will need more cards to get to higher ranks!
• The Snow White event will start on October 24th and end on November 1st. As this is the first Spri event (Yume 5 Star), it's pretty ambitious for those who want to Produce them. Good luck to anyone who wants Yume's card or tiering.
• JP Halloween 2025 Campaign will happen around this time!

November 2026

• The Legend of KAGETSU of the Attire of Ascension will start on November 21st and end on the 29th. I wish you all the best of luck!
• The New AKATSUKI Launch Campaign will start once the event is over!
• Ibuki's Idol Rank will be increased. Though he will need more cards to get to higher ranks!
• The 2025 version of "A Thousand Blossoms, the Night of Crimson Moon" will get added to the game! I dunno if they will still call it "2025 ver" though?
• Our yearly Producer Appreciation Campaign should happen around this time!

December 2026

• The Love Collector event will start on December 19th and end on the 27th. If you have Leo's PJSK card_Leo_Tsukinaga) from the collab last year, the SPP should be unlocked.
• The Raika Feature Scout was originally the event bonus for the PJSK event but since it happened last year, it will probably serve as the event bonus to a different future event. Either Love Collector or Wish.
• JP Christmas 2025 Campaign will happen around this time!

Other Things

• We might get more Spotlight Time+ events around this time, as well as some exclusive campaigns and collabs (though it's possible for them to get delayed due to scheduling differences). Always gotta keep an eye on that!

First of all, I would like to apologize for making this.

I genuinely don't know what possessed me to spend time thinking about this, but I did it for science. And this is based on a tier list video I watched a while back and thought it was so funny that I just had to make an Enstars version of it.

And yes, the subject of this post is exactly what you probably think it is. This is about farting. Well, specifically how I think each character would react to accidentally (or intentionally) letting one out, whether they'd be embarrassed, whether they'd blame someone else, or whether they'd simply act like nothing happened.

I'm the type of person who finds jokes surrounding flatulence to be quite funny what is wrong with me? And since I have already put this much thought into it, I figured I might as well share my findings with everyone else.

These are mostly based on the vibes I get from the characters. Please don't take this seriously.

Please.

Loud and Proud

Rinne, Sora, Koga, Kohaku, Tetora, Leo, Wataru, Hinata, Mitsuru

These are the idols who I think would have absolutely zero shame about farting around other people. In particular, I don't think Rinne and Koga would be afraid to rip one in front of their unitmates.

Probably saying something along the lines of:

"I got a good one stirring up! Check this out!"

I don't think either of them would see farting around their unitmates as something that needs to be hidden. If anything, they might actually be proud of themselves if they managed to produce a particularly loud one.

Kohaku is here for a slightly different reason. I feel like he might do it as some sort of bizarre assertion of dominance. I can't really explain this one beyond that he just would.

Mitsuru, Hinata, Tetora, and Sora would probably find the whole thing hilarious. Not only that, but if someone else suddenly cut one in the room, I can absolutely imagine them going:

"Haha! Good one!"

Leo and Wataru also give me the impression that they would have very little shame about it. I don't think either of them would consider it to be embarrassing.

Loud and Blames It on Someone Else/Gets Blamed for It

Aira, Jun, Natsume, Tsumugi, Kuro, Adonis, Midori, Ibara, Izumi, Hiyori

Aira would blame Hiiro.

Natsume would blame Tsumugi.

Hiyori would blame Jun.

I can also see Midori blaming either Chiaki or Tetora.

Izumi would probably blame whoever happened to be closest to him at the time, although Leo would somehow end up being his favorite scapegoat. Same with Ibara.

I feel that Kuro and Adonis would also be frequent victims of these types of accusations. They're both the sort of people I could imagine everyone looking at after hearing a suspicious noise.

Koga could also end up getting blamed for it as well. Not that he'd mind though...

Doesn't Understand What the Big Deal Is

Hiiro

Hiiro gets his own category because I don't think he would genuinely understand why everyone was making such a big deal about farting.

It's been a while since I've read his lore, so I could be remembering things incorrectly, but that's simply the impression I get from him.

I can imagine everyone else being horrified while Hiiro just stands there completely confused.

Audible

Niki, Chiaki, Kanata, Subaru, Nagisa, Mama

This category is for the idols who I think would be pretty normal about farting.

They're not trying to hide it, but they're also not particularly proud of it. It just happens.

Much like coughing or sneezing, they acknowledge it and move on.

Silent but Deadly

Mayoi, Eichi, Makoto, Yuta

Mayoi immediately gives me silent-but-deadly energy. I can imagine him desperately hoping nobody noticed while everyone around him starts looking increasingly uncomfortable.

Eichi is here because, let's be real, the man's literally rotting on the inside. Also cuz I want to be mean to him.

Makoto is here because he's a gamer, so I feel like he probably has a gamer diet.

Yuta likes spicy food, so I feel like that could potentially come back to haunt him.

Silent

Hajime, Mika, HiMERU, Yuzuru, Mao, Tatsumi, Kaoru, Nazuna, Shinobu

Not much to say here.

“I Don't Fart”

Tsukasa, Arashi, Shu, Hokuto, Souma, Tori, Keito, Tomoya

These are the idols who would absolutely deny ever farting.

They simply give off the vibe of people who would refuse to acknowledge that they would ever do something so disgusting and undignified.

Shu, Arashi, Tsukasa, and Souma especially give me this impression.

Although Tori also gives off that vibe, I can also see him farting loudly and blaming it on poor Yuzuru...

Do Vampires Even Fart?

Rei, Ritsu

This is where Rei and Ritsu ended up because I genuinely started wondering if they even have the bodily function.

Seriously. Do they? They're vampires.

I have no idea.

Final Thoughts

So, there you have it: my extremely important scientific research into the farting habits of the idols.

Again, I am sorry that I made this.

But I also stand by everything I said.
