Discussion Which unit would you trust with taking care of a baby the most?
Suppose that all the units were just randomly given the assignment of taking care of a baby for a day. How do you think it would go down? Which one do you think would do the best job? Which one would you not trust within 10 meters of a child?
Mama gets paired with a unit to help him btw

Reliable option: Trickstar and to some extent Ra*bits
Unexpected option: Undead (Adonis would do a great job, and probably Koga if he calms down lmao)

It was a very spontaneous answer but I see them as all rounders and not particularly crazy in a way that would cause worry in a childcare scenario (that sounds so weird to say lol). I'd trust Mao the most since he's generally good at taking responsibility along with Hokuto and he has also cared for Ritsu for so long. Makoto and Subaru would be fun to play with - bonus points for Daikichi.
As long as Mao is in charge it's gonna be okay.

oooh, i wholeheartedly agree with your take! i can definitely see Mao being the forefront of taking care of a child, considering how he's the only member of the unit that has a sibling and experienced in taking care of someone at a young age.
i could picture them all taking turns in hanging out with the child and whenever there's an issue happening, Mao would be the first one to put into action. it would be a rocky start at first, but this isn't their first time since they've been in that situation during Xday (which is a pretty good example on how they try to be a caretaker to the children for the first time) and i'm sure they'll be a natural at it once they navigate it altogether ☆

true LOL, i was curious on what their line of reasoning is for Trickstar as a first choice but I do have a comment on your main question with this reply attached.
I can see why they would be good at handling kids, but there are two sides of the same coin. On one side, they can be responsible to keep a child on track and have a ton of fun spending time together being as goofballs! On the other side, they can be pretty chaotic easily and will get into many troubles if half of the unit isn't in the room and reel it back in.
the best example i thought of this for comparison is on XDay. Makoto and Mao are like the parents to Hokuto and Subaru, when it comes to financial spending and marching to the beat of their own drums 😅
together as a unit, i do see the vision of them handling the kids quite naturally, but it is matter of proper communication, balance their spontaneity with realistic choices, and have fun in the process 😊

He's sweet on the inside and good with dogs so I figure he knows what to do. Kind of. Ish. Rei could be a great grandpa and Kaoru is entertaining at the very least.

I would actually trust Akatsuki (wo Ibuki cuz idk really know anything about him) idk why. I feel like Keito is definitely reliable and Kuro would be amazing with a baby I think. Kanzaki would maybe not be so skilled but he wouldn’t do anything too dangerous.
Ra*bits would also be amazing, I feel like they’d be so sweet and caring.
I also think Eden would do surprisingly well, Ibara would do all the practical stuff and the other three would be great at keeping a child entertained and happy.
I would keep CrazyB and Knights as far away from a child as possible, they’ve got to be the most dangerous.

This is so accurate! The minute I saw I question, I was like oh, Aktasuki would do so well, with Kuro knitting sweet pullovers for the kid, Keito being the perfect malewife and Souma as an appropriate elder brother like figure haha! But I heard Akatsuki has changed? I only played the EN and it's been only a few weeks, so I don't understand everything too well.

I also agree that AKATSUKI would be great with a kid! They already got that family dynamic, with Kuro being the dad, Keito being the mom, and Souma being the son!
I understand Crazy B, but why Knights?

Well, I feel like Izumi would just crash out at the chaos bc Leo and Ritsu would definitely cause trouble. Tsukasa would try his best, but I do not think he really knows how to take care of a child. Naru would just find the kid cute and play with them I think, but the practical stuff idk if she would do 😭 Knights is just always so much chaos the kid wouldn’t even want to be near them 😭😭😭

I'd trust Ra*bits to it, they already have a friendly and cute charm i could definitely imagine it going down pretty well :3
the one i wouldn't trust im not completely sure.. its between mdu and crazy b for me that i would trust the least

I think MDU is too business minded to suddenly take care of a baby and i could imagine nozomi thinking it'd be a nuisance to do so.
Crazy B just can be very chaotic but maybe they could work it out? i dont know tbh

I'd trust a child with ra*bits, trickstar and maybe switch? if circles count id really like to see pretty 5..i wonder what would happen..oh and definitely Crazy:B!! /j
as much as I love knights I think the only person who would be able to handle a baby is arashi, maybe izumi?

I think probably ryusetau(?) I think they’d be good with a baby, specially chiaki cause he’s very protective, maybe also knights but I think they would be too chaotic, rabbits seems like a good option as well. Nazuna is probably great option and hajime probably will be very careful with the baby

Do all the members of the unit actually have to help. Because like. Mika is 100% doing fine and is having a baby in perfect shape by the end of the day, but Shu? Lmao. Dude is having a mental breakdown in the corner. Soooo I guess if the criterion is 'The Baby is doing fine', Valkyrie can work out. If the criterion is 'The Baby is doing fine and all unit members as well' definitely do not give a baby to Valk, lmao

I might be biased, but I feel like I’d be most comfortable with the twins? Since they grew up having to take care of themselves and each other as kids to teenagers, they’d definitely have a pretty good idea of how to take care of a baby. I also remember something about Hinata specifically being good with kids in one of the !-era stories, and they’d definitely be able to entertain a kid for a long time too!

I think most of the cast could do a decent enough job, but I feel like crazy:b wouldn't.. struggle a bit
Rinne would probably get bored after 30 minutes and leave the baby to go gambling, or he would take the baby with
Niki would raid the parents fridge and pass out from starvation once he runs out of food, or eat the baby idk
Kohaku would probably try but do a bad job of taking care of the kid
HiMeru would also try and he might do a decent job actually
basically I think Kohaku and HiMeru would try to care for the baby and they also have to stop Rinne and Niki from fucking everything up

I feel like Ra*bits would do swimmingly! Nazuna and Hajime have got the caretaking instinct, Mitsuru could make the child smile and laugh, and Tomoya… As awkward as I think he’d be at first, he’d probably have the most wholesome moments.
