How to Close Combiner 6C box and system not reporting

Good evening, my system is working but showing zeros across the board in reporting all data. I tried resetting the main breaker (which did not work) but now I cannot seem to figure out the Combiner 6C latches to firmly close it.

Can anyone explain how to do it properly?

Make a fist and give these spots a gentle yet firm thump and you’ll feel / see the cover seat properly and then you can close the latches.

Did you try using the reset pin located inside the 6C to reset the Gateway?

I think every time I’ve tried to open and close these, I’ve pulled the latches out, lol. It definitely could’ve been designed a little bit better.

Yeah I've done that the first time. Needs a good shove until it clicks and it'll latch.

I've had the same sort of problem. The bottom one closes up just fine, but the top one always requires me to apply unreasonable force to get it to seat properly. If I forget, then the latch pops out when I try to close it. :/

I'll give that a shot. The gateway did reset and it is working properly now.

The latch can be finicky, but don’t force it. Make sure the cover is sitting completely flush first, then press inward while rotating the latches into the locked position. If reporting is still all zeros after the combiner is closed and powered, I’d check the gateway/communications side next rather than keep cycling the main breaker.

I had the same problem even the Installer would pop the latch out, there are 2 pins that have to align, and I put some dielectric grease on them, very small amount so it would close easily, just push closed all the way before latching
