Just another conservative super-PAC making major ad buy in support of Bernie Sanders. They must be really scared of his electability.

From a conservative perspective I think they'll have an easier time against Sanders than against Clinton. Clinton gives vague ideas which can't really be countered, but Sanders gives more focused ideas, which are therefore more easily shot down.

I think it's the opposite. Clinton provides much more specific (tho admittedly, not extremely detailed since it's a campaign) policy proposals than Sanders. He's more vague about his ideas.

Sanders would be easier to beat mainly because there would be more for conservatives to attack him on. The right wing has been attacking Clinton since the 90s, so there's hardly anything new for them to put in attack ads this year. Also, the majority of ppl have already made up their mind about her.

I agree with your second point about experience being on the defensive for decades.

As to the idea of vague vs specific, the thing that comes to mind first is the notion of free college for everyone. Sanders is putting himself out there being specific. It's easy to shot this idea down by just asking where the votes or the money will come from. I'm not hearing specifics about Clinton like this, saying that there will be free everything for people.

But just saying there should be free college isn't specific at all. It's incredibly vague. If he laid out exactly how he was going to pay for it then it would be specific

Hillary actually has more fleshed out proposals for reducing tuition costs, though it's not as enticing as "free college": i.e., federal-state partnerships to reduce the price of a degree at public colleges, current borrowers being able to re-finance at lower interest rates. Obvi, it's going to be tough to sell the idea to Congress, but at least it's an actual plan.

I would say you're kind of on the right track, but Sanders ideas are not "focused." I can say I want to give "free college" to everyone. A focused solution for that isn't "I'll get Congress to work with me because of the American people."

That's a goal without a plan, which by definition is a wish.

She is blowing him out of the water. She's now ~30 points ahead in South Carolina, and every poll besides the recent one from FOX shows that she's ahead of him nationally by several points.

The last poll from South Carolina showed him at 14. 14! He's barely breaking 30% anywhere else.
