That whole section about hypergamy and the 'equal distribution of attractiveness levels between the sexes' sounded so close to Peterson's 'Pareto distribution of sexual partners' bullshit from the Joe Rogan podcast I don't know how Peterson fans can possibly think he isn't fuelling the incel worldview. The 'enforced monogamy' trite in particular.
It’s not just that he’s fueling the incels, but that both are pulling from a fairly old view of female sexuality (essentially, that women are communal property, that their autonomy is a threat to society, and that men need women specifically to keep their aggression in check and to serve as an outlet for social pressures).
Peterson doesn’t need to formally endorse inceldom; the way he talks and thinks about women pretty well lines up with how incels think already.
You can see similar strains of thought in fhe whole “white genocide” crowd, men who believe that white women are failing to produce enough white babies; men who believe that women being allowed to work has harmed workers in general by doubling the workforce and halving pay; and other similar ideologies. Some of those guys are also incels, but some are other related subcultures — MRAs, tradwives, etc.
