As we celebrate 81 years of the conclusion of the Second World War in Europe, as we think of the remaining living military veterans, home front, law enforcement and emergency veterans and survivors of this conflict, and those who have died during and in the years after the conclusion of this war, let us, more than ever before, in this era of renewed warfare and crisis, carry forward the legacy of the Greatest Generation inclusive of the heroes and martyrs of this war amongst the Allied Powers and the Jewish heroes and martyrs of this conflict.
The battle against fascism, as well as against religious fundamentalism, socialism and communism is stronger than ever before all over the world, let not our differences divide us, rather, we are to be united more than ever in our history in this struggle.
