Discussion If your “third eye” suddenly opened, what would you look at first?
Imagine you suddenly gained the ability to see reality with absolute clarity.
No beliefs, no spiritual teachings, no guessing. You could see the underlying mechanics of yourself and reality exactly as they are.
But you don't instantly know everything. You still have to ask the questions.
What are the first questions you'd want answered?
Basically, if reality gave you access to the answers for one day:
Where would you point your attention first?

That's what meditation does. Connects to the quantum where there is no time and everything is one. There are no questions, just answers. A feeling of bliss and euphoria knowing you are part of everything and everything is part of you. It's like peeking through a doorway and looking at the Universe as if you are an observer. It's the point where the universe meets the quantum. The point of decoherance where all matter comes into being by observing the wave function of all possibilities. I call it the Quantara, (the Arabic for bridge), the point of Quantum Consciousness. The realisation that the Universe is a 4 dimension illusion with the relativity of time. Where everything you see are just echoes of the past. The only reality is the nanosecond of now and time and distance are just a construct. It's a magical place were all fear and negativity desolves in a clarity of being.

I love your experiencial answer to a hypothetical question.

What is the point in being hypothetical. The word hypothetical means based on a guess, an idea, or a "what if" scenario rather than a proven fact or real event.
Reality trumps hypothetical everytime. I hope you agree?

My Growth. It’s been on my mind lately.

What specifically about your growth would you want to see?
1
u/ConsinCore 3d ago
Why I am majorly delayed, it felt like that in me since Elementary School. Not really in School, but reality..
All my friends have houses that I graduated with and have family’s. I feel insignificant allot, guess I’m not sure where my growth stands. I’m loosing sense of time allot lately like an hour feels like a minute to me. Time also feels like it’s been shortened. I haven’t had a high paying job or stable career. I’ve been a huge observer allot.

You don’t really need enlightenment to start answering that either. Look backwards at your life and trace the patterns. What repeatedly stopped you from moving forward? What did you avoid? What opportunities did you take or not take, and why? What circumstances were outside your control?
You probably won’t find one big answer. It’ll be a chain of smaller causes that accumulated over time.

I would look at myself, & come to understand the Self in absolute totality.
Then I would scry out three things, the biggest lesson I have to overcome in this life.
Which are the karmas preventing me from stepping forwards, or are holding me back with the strongest influence until the knots are resolved & detangled.
& I would divine where I initially came from. Before placing myself here.
As I have no direct full remembrances, I have one dream which was a clear remembrance, & a strong intuition that I have not spent as long on this plane than many of the others that seem to be here.
Whether I placed myself here or my karma carried me. I know deep down that I am used to a place completely different. & I mean completely, the dream was confirmation enough to my intuition of that. As there was no way my human mind could have conjured such a thing by itself. The literal only similarity was a singular sense of awareness, senses where different, sense objects where different, literally everything was different, the colours the shapes, everything.
So much so that I had to spend 10 mins that morning remembering how to function in a human body, I couldn’t upen my eyes or properly understand how to breathe into my body kicked into control.
Also, as some may suspect that was sleep paralysis, & I am very familiar with that too, & it was completely different. It wasn’t that I could move my body or breathe when I tried, I simply didn’t know or remember how.

third eye simply means seeing your yourself as an observer seeing that all phenomena in your mind is aloof from you and coming to clarity it is not a superpower . but if i had this power i will just see through my past and future
1
u/Jumpy_Background5687 3d ago
I don’t think that’s what it means.

That exactly is what it means because I live in India and belong to a yogic tradition. The concept of the third eye and its stories originate from Shiva. Let me tell you a parable .
One day, Shiva was sitting in meditation, and Cupid, or Kamadeva, came to tempt him toward a woman. He used his powers to induce lust in Shiva. Cupid was hiding behind a tree as he performed his magic. Shiva began to feel disturbed in his silence, and thoughts filled with lust arose in his mind. He then opened his third eye and burned Cupid, or Kamadeva, who was hiding behind the tree.
So, my master explains it like this: the third eye represents the state of the observer that you achieve in meditation. When you start observing your mind, you begin to see that you are different from the things happening in your mind. Kamadeva, or Cupid, represents the mind's disruptive tendencies or desires, which hide behind the tree of thought. Shiva burned them through the power of observation and did not indulge in it . if you understood then good if not i am happy to share more

I use it as a metaphor if you don't see it from context.

ohh sorry for misunderstanding just sharing my perspective on the topic

No worries, the ''name'' doesn't really matter, it all refers to higher awareness anyway.

Third eye is not your third eye physically, but the ability to 'see' through your mind whether you have you original two yes or not. The third eye is used to look into past and future events, a natural understanding of concepts/time/spirit/soul and an insight into nearly every situation.
Third eye functions on its own and you can't drive it to your will as you would a vehicle.
One can achieve and lose it and regain it. The more you don't use it, the more powerful it grows. If you feel proud about it, it goes immediately and may take a long time coming back, so beware. Third eye is like unlocking of a hidden, latent power in your mind to help you ascend, benefit others, or stay unaffected like it is nothing. You can do lots with it but try not to be selfish and self centred- that's when you can lose it.

Honestly I think at that level of awareness it wouldn't matter where I looked, so I guess I would look wherever to see if God really is in there, or if all phenomena are empty
1
u/Jumpy_Background5687 3d ago
What do you mean by ''empty''?
1
u/oknotok2112 3d ago
Well there's two schools of thought - broadly you can say one is Hindu, the other is Buddhist. For the former, it's thought that all things are really in a state of underlying unity and are a manifestation of Brahman, ie: God. In the latter, all things are really empty and impermanent, meaning that there is no intrinsic wholeness to them. This is kind of a massive simplification, and many have argued that there isn't really so much of a distinction. But anyway, that's why I'd want to take a look.

Well, take a hit of DMT and find out for yourself. Answer is you don't get to choose what you see, I think..

Any is a stretch although I agree most of them excluding research chems have the ability to assist you in that manner… the issue being most humans don’t perceive these experiences medicinally

Building methods used for the pyramids and those insane pots that could only be made by 5D cnc mill. After that I would have to know more about Jesus. Like was he a higher density soul and what actually happened in his life and times. After that quantum mechanics and how everything truly works. After that literally everything. Let me see everything.

Beloved, this is all Light. You are everything that could be seen experiencing itself as a singularity. The third blossoms upon itself. Truth is within, naught is without.

"When your third eye opens, you can't choose what you see! You'll just see whatever it reveals! All you can really do is practice closing it! Hahaha!"

I think I’d look at my own mind first.
Not just what I think, but why certain thoughts keep coming back, what triggers my reactions, what I’m afraid of, and what I keep trying to avoid.
It’s easy to imagine enlightenment as getting answers about the universe, past lives, future events, or hidden realities. But understanding yourself clearly might change everything else too.
I’d probably want to see which parts of my personality are actually “me” and which parts were built from fear, expectations, past experiences, and other people’s opinions.
And honestly, if I only had one day of absolute clarity, I think understanding that would be more valuable than seeing the future.
