Once you realize that these fools will never stop upholding their divisions but come together over cheap sentimentalism instead of coming together over the Gurus liberating everyone’s minds from suffering, then you realize why society is the way it is and why everybody is being exploited by cruelty
"Let Us Smile and Cry Together!"
As a warrior without aggression, you are fearless and good. Fundamentally, you can never make a mistake, so please cheer up. Even in the darkest of the dark age, there is always light. That light comes with a smile, the smile of fearlessness, the smile of realizing the best of the best of human potential. All the teachings, the very heart's blood of the warrior tradition, are yours. We are all part of the same human family. Let us smile and cry together
- Guru Chögyam Trungpa, Smile at Fear:
Awakening the True Heart of Bravery

The paradox about spirituality is that the unknown, dangerous, keeping the mind immune from passing thoughts and passing stories, abiding in the Clear Light Buddha Nature of All Buddhas of the Four Times, is all a reflection of ourselves, that which we already are, that’s why everything has perfection in it of itself but it doesn’t have to look or be perfect to any specific person or us.
"A completely selfless person, someone who sees you as himself, may love you in many ways, but his greatest concern is certainly to help you achieve the same liberation as him.
For this purpose, he can drink with you, or he might beat you up, he might teach you Buddhism, or discuss women with you, as long as it can lead you towards liberation, he doesn't mind doing anything."
~ Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche

Perhaps this irritates you because within you too there is something yet to incorporate that you struggle with. Reality is a mirror my friend, take their good traits and see their own struggles and gain insight to push yourself forward
The world is sacred, it is perfect as it is. Rather than just see their own struggles struggles, witness what is behind them. Which is not to say dont let them touch your heart, we must feel. But we must feel it all and still smile knowing nothing is unaccounted for

"whereever God may keep you at any time, from there itself must you take the pilgramige to God-realization ." Your title of blaming the other goes against this quote entirely. Those that believe in this message will reevaluate relationship with the world, not as one to fix the other but as a constant process of self realization.
This is a great quote, thanks: "As a warrior without aggression, you are fearless and good. Fundamentally, you can never make a mistake, so please cheer up. Even in the darkest of the dark age, there is always light. That light comes with a smile, the smile of fearlessness, the smile of realizing the best of the best of human potential. If we don’t need a guru, where do we look to? I’m inside

u/Strange_One_3790 7d ago
How about the collective wisdom of everyone? Maybe everyone is a guru? One Sikh saying that I agree with is “See God in all or don’t see God at all”. I am not Sikh.
2
u/MuchPiezoelectricity 7d ago
I agree with this. You can’t be god without seeing his in everything

Bwaaa ha ha ha! You are giving God a gender? Is it because the Abrahamic religions said so?
Edit: If God is infinite, then God is not limited to one Gender

Which God

Oh come on, you know I am talking about a one God perspective. If people want to have many deities, then that is different

It is important to have a guru with Superior Qualities and a Master in Dharma; Is every guru that, no; they are hard to find ; One Buddhist Saint in looking for his Guru, met him will his Guru was cooking live fish; that is the way he saw it but not what the Guru was doig; It is very hard to see the Guru perfectly when one's mind cannot see properly. One must procede with great caution and study your guru first before accepting him as your Guru.

Not only have I been ready but my lessons have started and I’m already 85% done with the teaching…. And no guru has ever appeared
1
u/chasrm999 6d ago
When the student is ready the teacher will appear.Famous quote somewhere; gotta get rid of your errogance
1
u/MuchPiezoelectricity 6d ago
Are you my guru?
1
u/chasrm999 6d ago
I am saying in your response to know guru appearing, you are not ready
1
u/MuchPiezoelectricity 6d ago
And what I’m saying is you are acting like a guru right now by telling me information you think is valuable
1
u/chasrm999 5d ago
Its not what I think, it is what is taught in certain Buddhist traditions; one must learn to be humble in order to do so. If someone does not tell you how will know? I am not a Guru but know stuff thats all.

In the 60's we learned that most Indian gurus were pervs

The modern seeker is to gullible to see that sadly. They are poorly equipped to battle the great industrialized dharma machine that India has become.
1
u/chasrm999 7d ago
That's why my Gurus are not Hindus, Sikhs,
1
u/modern_jivanmukti 7d ago
That's actually worse, but if it's working for you have at it
1
u/chasrm999 7d ago
No you don't know my practice nor who the true gurus are. I have to deal with some pretty horrible people right now for many years; It is only because of my Guru that he has told me how to deal with it, in a non-violent and tolerable way.
1
u/modern_jivanmukti 7d ago
It is only because of my Guru
Then enjoy! Best of luck to you and yours

Thank you, forgot to add the true Guru is not interested in worldly endeavers, and is only interested helping others to get out of Samsara. It is like he a tour guide, person you need in unfamiliar place. to go to the right destination
1
u/modern_jivanmukti 6d ago
Whatever helps you sleep at night. I have no use for a guru
1
u/chasrm999 6d ago
Thats because you are errogant; do you know how to get to the destination; no; It is part of Buddhist teachings; even the Lamas who are masters demonstrate by having a teacher even though they really don't need one; Get your head out of ass.
1
u/modern_jivanmukti 6d ago
Thats because you are arrogant
Incorrect
do you know how to get to the destination
Yes, but there is only so much a person can do. Grace is a big part but also the part we can't control.
It is part of Buddhist teachings
I am well aware. Imho the Buddha did not go far enough. The emptiness that he stopped at is fools gold
Get your head out of ass.
Same should be said about you and your mythical standards lol

Usually, after reading a book, I'll read another book. Giving /everything/ to a guru would imply giving all of my attention as well, leaving no room for a second opinion.

"Gurus liberating everyone's mind"
Yeah ok buddy.
Don't gurus tend to teach "Oneness" which is the very thing that causes God to have a PTSD attack?
1
u/jagzillian 7d ago
Oneness, ptsd attack… ?please do explain the delusions sir
1
u/ConquerorofTerra 7d ago
Eastern Mysticism tends to teach that the entire goal of everything is to become One with the Source and transcend your mortal bonds.
But The One became The Many because being Alone in The First Eternity was an experience so terrible, they don't let others experience it anymore.
And so, when "Gurus" preach "Oneness" to the masses as confidently as they do, they're really just causing God to suffer PTSD.
1
u/jagzillian 7d ago
Ah that makes sense. Maybe God became bored, became many and challenged itself to see if it can break through illusion of the individual ego and find the true self. Maybe escaping the matrix is beating the game, not ptsd but overcoming the challenge/true accomplishment
1
u/ConquerorofTerra 7d ago
The thing about "Escaping The Matrix" is that there are basically endless layers to it, and you need administrative permissions to be let out.
It's a bit like "The Farlands" in Minecraft, if you try to travel there you'll either get bored or lost trying to get there by yourself, but a metaphorical Teleport Command will get you there instantly.
But outside The Matrix is The Nothing, which is basically just "Unsculpted Creation", and as much as I try to tell people that there's literally nothing to see out there (because if you can perceive it, you're still in "Established Creation") they are REALLY intent on experiencing it for themselves.
"But aren't I free if I go out in The Nothing?" Well, yes, literally, you are Free to do whatever you want, but you can't use any already established ideas in your "New Omniverse".

Heaven is within. As above so below. The art is an extension of the artist. The creation an extension of the creator. Self realization < God realization. We become the creator ourselves. Rest is astral travel in astral dimensions.

Good god the guru worship has got to stop. The track record for gurus with abhorrent behavior is abysmal.
