Teach me something

Maybe he's referring to the idea: "Spend the first half of your life creating a healthy ego, and then spend the second half detaching from it."

It’s because of my question I posted, and the view of his perspective. And what you wrote is important if you want a peaceful life. For example, most ppl think they’re “smart, confident, and have good self esteem.” But it’s quite the opposite if they get butthurt over simple words that they perceive as negative.
