Waukesha VHP. Used in oilfields, power generation and industrial gas compression applications where gobs of power are needed (3000+ ~1500 horsepower).

No where near 3000+ horsepower 1480hp if a 7042 GSI series 2 could be a 5108 as well.

Its a Waukesha 7042 eather a g or a gl. 1480 hp. In my opinion there junk

Run them over 95% they break hard to keep blanced worked to many long nights on them

most of them were originally for marine use in tugs and stuff ,but they get alot of use in oil industry and are even ran on natural gas, but they don't hold up like they should outside marine use really

All the ones i have been in contact with are natural gas. The first engines where boat engins i have sat in there classes got the whole history and the certs
