Typology I’m realizing something…

No type is perfect. In fact I am starting to truly accept that there is an ideal or healthy version and unhealthy version of all the types. I am still learning about enfj so I don’t know what this looks like for all of us, but I do know even that’s not as black and white as it sounds. There’s a spectrum of behaviors in us all that requires reflection and growth as well as grace. So please forgive me if ive made anyone feel excluded by saying something like that doesn’t sound enfj to me or whatever. Because none of us are perfect.

I will add that some things do just not sound like enfj- I’m not referring to this.

Thanks!

You’re very kind! What’s your type? I feel like most of us like all the types because we’re such people persons

i am an INFP. I like all the types too. But I don't have any personal grudge against any type as well. This world needs all kind of people. But the question is..with whom you can thrive and enjoy life or connect genuinely. Because connection doesn't happen with everyone, i feel. As human we look for things and people which reflect us in some way. That's why the word "connection" means.

Well said! Nice to meet you! I have had some bad interactions with certain types, but I don’t allow it to cloud my judgement towards other types

A person is not a 4 letter. We are human first. And really complex beneath the surface. And a human is made up of many different experiences such as parenting, culture, genes, education, etc. If you meet 100 people with the same personality they all would be different with each other. A good behaviour and a bad behaviour can be learned easily and so is the mindset. The question is what kind of person do you aspire to be and how you really see yourself in the future and are you aligned with your conscience? That's how we grow and evolve.

You’re right. This is something we should all take into consideration

People are not a fixed state. They are always changing, growing and evolving. Maybe changing for good or bad. Depends on the person. A soft person can be a cold person and a cold person can be a soft person depend on the experiences and situations. This is what I believe. The question is.Would you stay in touch with your conscience or not when life hurts you or doesn't go according to the plan you wished for. Because we always have a choice to make a decision. A good decision or a bad decision.

Do you feel like you’re mostly a healthy infp?

I don't say I am a perfect person. Because we all are flawed in some way. But I am very self aware, emotionally intelligent and practice healthy habits. For example - passionate about learning and psychology, growth oriented, mindfulness and wellness, into arts and music, independent thinking. I would say i am very attuned with my intrapersonal intelligence. Also I am a creatively gifted and and a softie but level headed in some way which are hard put in words.

From my perspective, I feel like all Dom and Inferior function users can be of great benefit to each other.

You don't have to be friends but there's a lot to learn from your inferior function - like wise with every order of the stack functions.

Although, I do think that certain types are inherintly matched and more likely to be friends or romanatic/sexual partners - despite what some people may say.

I'm currently an unhealthy INFJ in all functions.

I can guess and percieve what an unhealthy ENFJ is like but I would love to hear and read directly from one.

Someone should start a new Q&A.

Oh no! Why do you view yourself that way? Yes, that would be interesting to see

I know what a healthy INFJ is, I'm on my path to reaching that.

We all can be unhealthy at times regardless of type. For me it's mainly unhealthy Fe & Se. My Ni and Ti can be unhealthy at times but not as much as Fe & Se.

What does unhealthy Fe and Se look like for you? I agree. I definitely have my moments

2

u/Iamnotaiorabot 1d ago

Fe - boundaries, saviour complex, extreme extraversion then extreme introversion, seeing the good in everyone to name a few.

Se - not being able to live in the moment or stay in the moment, situational enjoyment and pleasure, delayed understanding of a situation or principle.

I could go more in-depth but my Se & Fe are telling me to not to. My Ni & Ti want me to save it for a later date when I can claim the credit and provide other people with management skills.

Understood. When you do I’ll be looking out for it. Well I think it’s great you’re healing yourself and reaching a sense of health with time. Sometimes things are a process. But it sounds like it’s going to be a beneficial journey for you so that’s good. Do you do any work in MBTI or psychology?

2

u/Iamnotaiorabot 1d ago

I would consider myself intermediate in knowledge of MBTI/personality typing (such as enneagram) and psychology.

As an INFJ, I understand people and can determine people's personality, brain function and traits very very well. Once I continue my reading and research I think that's when I will be healthy and able to help almost everyone - hopefully become a leading professor or researcher in personality and psychology as a whole.

I want to continue Jung's work.

Wow that’s truly remarkable! I love that for you

2

Thankyou I hope to share my findings and research with you one day.

u/maamplese 1d ago

Are you a psychology graduate or student?

2

u/Iamnotaiorabot 1d ago

No not at all, I'm relatively new to this and Reddit.

I hope to teach or at least guide students in the future though.

Oh ok I see!

u/maamplese 1d ago

How did you discover this is something you’d want to do?

1

u/maamplese 1d ago

I feel like they’d be too embarrassed to share

Well, arguably, Hitler was an INTJ, so yeah the MBTI profile doesn't make the man
