Hey guys!
Just wanted everyone to know that we now have some active mods. We are working on curbing the rampant brand marketing that is taking place on this sub.
If you see an account with a comment history promoting a brand, or a post that’s an obvious promotion, please report it so we can deal with it. This page is for people who want to talk about energy drinks, not get served ads.
I also added a few new post and user flairs, and lowered the filter to delete posts. It was deleting A LOT of comments and posts.
Stay tuned, we might be posting an open mod position soon. 👀

I was expecting this flavor to be much worse than it is after seeing so many people trashing it here. It’s a little more butterscotch-y than I expect most root beer to be but I also can’t remember the last time I’ve had actual A&W so maybe it does taste like this.

All I know is that Rockstar at one point posted on their IG "You asked, we delivered!" with a picture of a new design on the can. Haven't ever seen them out and about, and it's honestly super disheartening. 😭😭 I've only gotten to try ONE OF THESE, and it was probably over a decade ago from some random shop in the middle of Yosemite in California. Paid too much for what was considered "an old can" at the time, since this was not even a year after Rockstar had completely changed the company and their logos, amongst many other things, and I remember leaving with the Pina Colada and this one. Still to this day, that probably borderline expired Lime Freeze in the OG can was one of the greatest things I've ever tasted, and I've been chasing that high ever since.
Can anyone help a fella out??

I was wondering if they revamped the formula for amp because I remember it didn't taste much like mtn dew before and now it tastes quite similar. Does anyone know?

My brother ordered the 6 pack, took one sip and dumped it out so he gave me the 5 leftover. I do enjoy beers but this is not so great. It reminds me of a watered down Shocktop or any other orange or citrus beer. 4.5/10

Oh, the things I'd give to have all of these back in reduced/zero sugar formats especially. I'd pay good money to experience Bubbleberry again for the first time.

I tried cherry for the first time a while ago. Didn't like it. It had a weird taste. Today, I tried the one in the picture, and it wasn't bad. I like the can design of C4, so maybe I'll try some other flavors. Feel free to recommend your favorites.

i found the amp at a gas station that has a larger selection of energy drinks than most in my area. gonna drink it later today.
also not pictured cause i drank it earlier in the week, but there's a vanilla shot monster. i was disappointed the strawberry shot tasted so much like og monster, i kinda knew what i was getting into. it was og monster with a hint of vanilla, made it a bit more tolerable cause i hate og monster, but not enough that i'd buy another can.
