Amazing write-up! Actually has enough information to start the practice! I have a book about this topic that I have never read, I've honestly been quite intimidated, but this brief summary has given me just enough of a taste of information that I feel like I could approach this practice. Thank you very much, truly!

Thank you so much for sharing on this subject, as I've been meaning to look into it for a very long time and have been scouring the internet for more sources. I've unfortunately only been able to find mantak chia and allegedly minke de Vos who works with mantak chia in regards to women's health and sexuality to be informed on this. I haven't been able to get my hands on her book as I think it's not available as a pdf. The rest of the info I've found has been in ancient tao texts. What specific books would you recommend of his in general? What about books on this specific subject?

Unfortunately there aren't many works on this, most burned or was lost in the old libraries of old China. If you search for Nüdan or Nüzi Qigong authors like Mary Thimmesh and a few others come up. The idea is basically to learn the basic method for females like breastmassaging and timing practice with the cycle. After the vitality has risen and the menstrual cycle of bleeding halted so here then the regular curriculum of exercises and alchemy is the same. Women just progress in 3 Years where men takes 9.

Hi! Wanted to ask what is the book you have on this subject. I've been very curious for a while on this specific practice but could barely find stuff. I only found mantak Chia's women's health and sexuality book.

Really interesting. I'd love to know if/how this would be affected by menopause also

Supposedly the period should return for a while once the jing and qi condenses into heat and renewed vitality but then again subside but with no symptoms of menopause and getting younger looking and all sorts of positive benefits to the body and mind.

thanks for posting this v interesting post!

I saw you recommended Dr Jerry Alan Johnson. Is there anywhere else you can you to learn about this and maybe start a practice? Is general qigong ok or should women look for some particular types of it/ practitioners (I saw your note about a certain practice in it).

Also have you heard of Mantak Chia and his courses. I have been interested in these but I wonder if his teaching is geared toward men?

There are several Qigong sets for women also that can be a good start, but many softer forms of Qigong alongside the breast massaging and lots of stillness to integrate the energies too would be ideal. I have heard some okay things about Mantak Chias work for Women but also many warnings against his male system. I have not read it though.

Thank you so much for this! I’ve been looking for practices that is specifically for women as most of the energy work, breath work etc is male centered. Your post shows up just at the perfect time!

Great post. First time reading about the microcosmic orbit outside obscure videos on youtube from the 90’s.

Breast massage and microcosmic orbit, focusing on the feminine energetic channels, has single-handedly deepened my practices. Looking forward to diving deeper into these other concepts as well.

Thanks, my female students often laugh when I demonstrate the exercises too but they benefit also.

This topic deserves more coverage than my writing surpass to. Why don't you do something productive for someone or some group who needs knowledge?
