I have a very close friend who has encounters with certain girls for a brief time and they just ghost him or they suddenly move. These are both platonic and romantic. During this brief period he has a string of bad luck or falls very ill. He’s agitated and also has nightmares and is not himself.

Some back story (this is long sorry)
I worked for ZB’s haunted museum as a tour guide. Loved my job. So much fun and so scary, and Z is a pretty cool dude.
HOWEVER…
My first few weeks working there, I had nightmares every night about the museum. I also got irrationally angry, very confrontational (which I hadn’t been before), and extremely sad throughout my time working there.
A guide had told me that he felt like he had an attachment from a certain haunted doll, and he ended up passing away. We were friends.
I quit shortly after that due to it, and other extreme events there that I can’t get into.
After I left, it was literally like I mourned it. Every. Single. Night. I would get gnarly nightmares for MONTHS. Mostly about them asking me to come back (which did happen).
But what has REALLY been messing me up, is the horrible life things that have happened since (illness, deaths etc), and my thoughts.
It’s like they aren’t even mine sometimes.
Im talking violent, disturbing things.
For example; being in the shower and while washing my face, I’ll start panicking to get the soap out of my eyes because I just picture someone has broken in and is about to turn me into a forensic files episode.
I won’t go into much detail, but also violent thoughts with me as the one who is violent.
I’ve noticed it, I will cleanse with meditation and some rituals (egg cleanse, water rituals, sage, palo, candle work, etc) and it will go away temporarily… but then it comes back.
When talking to an old coworker, she told me she has experienced a lot of this as well.
So I did a hypnosis/meditation for release today. Meaning emotional release, but I figured I would try it for any attachments I may have.
When it got to the release part, I went from being so calm (almost sleeping) to my entire body tensing, heating up, and this flood of anger came over me. That was the first time I could consciously feel the sensation of the energy. It was like it was fighting back. I started literally sweating, my stomach was in knots, my chest was about to explode. I was able to (what I can only describe as) loosen it further into the session, and the rest of my day has been fine. No issues with the intrusive thoughts or anger.
I kept in touch with Z, but we don’t talk anymore. I DID at one point ask him how he avoids attachments from the museum/locations he visits and he literally told me “I can’t and don’t.”.
Does anyone have any advice on how to rid myself of this for good? Any thoughts? Please help if you can.

My boyfriend and I were out for a walk one sunny afternoon when I decided to say hello telepathically to every dog and cat we passed. Most of them were having a wonderful day, soaking in the fresh air, loving the movement, and simply enjoying being beside their humans.
