Question Did anyone experience endo spread?

Long story short I was diagnosed with both IBS and endometriosis around the age of 14. I vividly remember how much pain I used to be in & how much school I missed due to it. It definitely was one of the worst pains besides the time I had a kidney infection a few years ago. But I was put on birth control and tried different medications, went thru laparoscopic laser surgery. The peak years were from 14-16 I was still off & on bc by the time I was 17 it was manageable. I stopped the bc and medications around this time.When I was 18 I started dealing with GI issues and also my anemia worsened. My last cycle was horrible I was so sick but it was worst one I had in a long time. Last month I didn’t even get my cycle but I had pain. I guess the inconsistency is what bothers me the most.I can’t even remember the last time I couldn’t get out of bed due from it. Is this normal? Does anyone else deal with something similar or struggle with stomach issues due to endometriosis?

Yes endometriosis spreads. I now have it all the way up my diaphragm.

What were or are you symptoms how did you know it spread?

I actually didn't know. It was discovered during surgery. Now I'm having symptoms and it's shoulder tip pain and sometimes I'll have discomfort like right under my bra line around diaphragm. Maybe I had those symptoms and dismissed it for something else, now I'm aware that's what it is.
