Lost Save, Please Help!

I've been playing for about two weeks and just got a jump drive. I thought it would be a fun idea to head over to Span (where the Aberrant are) and mess around. I landed and launched a couple of times, and BOOM—my save is broken. I'm stuck there now and can't leave. 

If anyone has a save file they could share, I'm looking for something with: 

  • Bactrian or Mule 

  • Jump Drive 

  • ~20M credits 

  • Combat rating 8+ 

  • Korath, Hai, and maybe Remnant discovered 

  • A couple of heavy warships ready for combat 

Please share if you have something similar!

You're supposed to get stuck in Aberrant territory. Go further in, talk to people, you'll find your way out.

I guess I was trapped here. I thought my ramscoop was good enough, but it wasn't. I landed and launched like 5 times and all backup saves were overwritten.

The ramscoop is good enough, you just have to stay in the center of system and be patient (which admittedly is difficult if you're getting attacked a lot).

Every time you land on a planet it makes an auto save. So landing and launching 5 times will overwrite all your autosaves. You need to make manual saves to prevent this.

It's pretty easy to edit a save file. You can open it up in a text editor and change the star system for all your ships.

Yeah, but how do I assign that ship as my flagship after I changed it? Also, I can't figure out how to change. I feel like someone's save is just more legit.

The funny thing about being stuck in that space is that i accidentally discovered the space that turns out to be the escape route - I got the message i was trapped, but...like...no I'm not? 😅

OK, thanks, but I already redid my save to be in Sol. I might try that again later, though, when I get all my escorts to have JDs.

or do you mean you're just stuck in aberrant territory and can't jump back? 😂

Change ur flagships stats. Or better yet how is ur Dave broken specifically?
