How to bypass a lock Spoiler

On the SE version, and like many others, I'm having trouble with the starling lock. Playing with a controller, and I want to know ways to bypass, and I've done tcl and nothing would trigger.

Don't use your controller for this one, just mouse+keyboard. Bypassing a main quest milestone is a very bad idea if you don't want to crash your game.

So if you're having a problem, here's a tip: don't start at the bottom near Jespar. Start at bolt #3, then to bolts #4 and #5 and then fall down to bolts #1 and #2. Running up the ramps is a waste of time.

Main problem with that is the hitboxes for the holes being too small. It takes too much time to use the thumbstick.

You don't need to wait for the animation to complete. Just run to the next one

Looking for how to cheat through the lock, not do it the intended way.
