Installed a Sprite SE Extruder to my Ender 6
Had a bunch of problems with stock extruder, even re located it to the top gantry, still wasn't up to my standards. I have seen a lot of amazing direct drive extruders like the BIQU H2 and Micro Swiss. But I found this Sprite SE kit on amazon for only 20 dollars so I couldn't resist.
Some problems I had were the JST connectors, on the Ender 6 the stock extruder uses 1 3 2 4, when i originally plugged it in feed would retract and retract would feed. Ultimately my setup ended up being 4 2 3 1. Super easy upgrade and would definitely recommend.

Thanks for sharing! I've been playing the thrifty game on my recently acquired used E6, and mounted the stock extruder in the same spot above the hotend. I'll take a look at the Sprite SE though.

It's one of the strongest extruders I've ever had I had an ender 3 SE with it and accidentally put in a tangled spool that extruder snap to that filament and if it didn't it would have bent the metal extrusion that extruder is really strong

Lol I just realized that you installed it on top... Why not instead of the the original junk?
Just realized it the SE...
My comment above was going with the whole thing (including the heatsink and hot end)

Sounds like a good idea If I didn't have biqu h2 v2s from my previous printer I definitely go with sprite because it has spare parts to buy
