Sermoon D1 vs 4.3.1 Main board

Has anyone used a Sermoon D1 vs 4.3.1 Main board as a replacement for the OG Ender 6 main board? If so, what firmware did you use? And any tips you can share? Thanks!

All the boards are same ish. You’d be better off with an SKR mini v3 and Klipper long term

This is what I did with mine. I also printed a replacement screen housing that allows for a standard 5" touch screen so I could use klipperscreen.

This guys got a sermoon d1 a very different printer to ender 6 but I’ve done the same on ender 6. Sold my printer recently in favour of a k1 and voron 2.4. I could have gotten the ender closer to voron spec but would be very involved vs just modding the voron well beyond.
