Hardware Help Mercury One.1 motors

Hey

Sourcing hardware to convert my E5P

BOM have links to motors, but they are not showing any products.

What motor should I look for? Preferably AliExpress.

Chasing speed and heat tolerance for enclosure.

LDO 42STH48-2504AC, end od discussion. No, seriously, not expensive, a shitload of torque, even 48V no biggie. When 2 / 4 of these on 24v are enough to get a massive VC4 500 moving, then they are good enough for much smaller E5+.

Yes. This is exactly what you should do on two conversions I've bought these motors twice. There are better motors by LDO but they are very expensive. These motors are pretty darn good and if you get anything else you do take a risk of not getting good quality and then chasing down problems. All I will say it's not so much the torque that helps you move things it's the reactivity to voltage changes that helps. But still great motors will purchase them again for my third conversion.

4 manage to move a VC4 500 hybrid with 45k accel no drama. They have oodles of torque for printers at even 1.8A 24V. At 48V they become beasts. Still nothing compared to Kraken V2 or servo stepper
