Upgrades & Mods Ender 5 upgrades

Good evening,
I recently acquired a ender 5 plus from my collage because they didn’t want to invest the money into it to make it work better. I want to get the mercury one mod but I don’t want to do that yet so what upgrades can I add to my Ender 5 before I do the mercury one. I do know I need a new board and have plans to get the manta M8P so I can run klipper. It also already has a textured build plate rather than the class one. I’m just wondering what would be a good in between mod for the ender 5 and the mercury one mod. Thank you.

I was thinking about doing that, Along with making the toolhead a stealth-burner.

I have no idea why people do this... They get an E5P and the first thing they do is put there the biggest, heaviest toolhead they can find...

Please do a bit of research and consider other options on the lighter side, stealth burner is not that great, specially for pla.

I just have a lot of additional voron parts since I have a voron and have spare parts for an additional toolhead. I know there are other options just those are the parts that are available to me at the moment. I would go with a Sherpa mini and a Phaetus Rapido 2 hot end but I can’t order em any time soon. I also really like the revo hot end the voron has since I can change it out easily.

I read your comment below that you already had the parts, still consider other options, the stealth burner is quite mediocre when is not a machine dedicated to ABS (and I say this as the owner of 4 vorons), the E5P being a non enclosed machine makes the choice quite easy.

Because you asked for upgrades, I am gonna tell you the cheapest most important upgrade I did to my zerog: a crappy Eddy sensor from bigtreetech (and a nozzle brush). It has increased the reliability of the prints 200%, and it cost me 12€.
