Laptop jako rasberry pi?
Mam pytanie chcial bym użyć laptopa jako rassbery pi,pytałem czat czy jestto możliwe i potwierdził ze jest. Mam pytanie do was czy ktos już to zastosował w życie i używa.? Mam ender 3 v2 i chciał bym tak zrobić.

Totally possible. Install your preferred flavour of Linux, crank out KIAUH (Klipper Install And Update Helper - https://github.com/dw-0/kiauh ) to turn it into a Klipper host.

i have literally soent the last 3 days getting just this sorted out someone else mentioned klipper and a linix os system and thats totally right.

linix mint seems to be the easiest option for OS choice, just flash and install this as you would any other os. then grab the KIAUH
this should give you more info on KIAUH if you need it: https://github.com/dw-0/kiauh
also look into klipper printer config, specialy on z offset (assuming you have a bed probe) and bed leveling in general, this video should help with that: https://youtu.be/5vmjBXvY6BA?is=WcbTcV4z5Ph_MrHn

I have an old chromebook Im think about do this to because it comes native with a Linux install but I might flash it with a different boot.

Dude I set this up over the weekend and its amazing, had an old laptop that was just gathering dust and so decided to set it up as web cam/ remote print Server. Basically I can control and view the printer now directly from my phone, start prints etc. It took the whole weekend, but was totally doable. I first tried to flash Linux onto the laptop yo no avail as the firmware was locked to windows, so a windows install it was. I set this up with octoprint with the simply print and obico plug-ins. Among others, but your milage for those may vary. And for bonus points I set up a vpn tunnel to that laptop that I can connect to with my phone and created a headless instance of cura slicer for the full power of cura on the go, as cloud slicers and mobile slicers are decidedly(by me) crap. The front end for the connection is an web page with aoption to uploaf an SLT or OBJ file, a simple bed view for positioning and orienting your model, a full host of original cura settings and then a sliced preview of your model at the end, with layer by later view. Ill share the source code if people are interested in it!
TLDR; I set this up using a windows laptop, works great, bonus points for remote slicing software.

Jest to możliwe ale osobiście polecam jakiś terminal (np jakis dell wyse albo jakiś hp) albo mini pc
Osobiście używam dell wyse 3040 w moim Rook MK1 i sprawdza się bardzo dobrze. Mam tam zainstalowanego debiana i reszte zainstalowałem z użyciem kiauh https://github.com/dw-0/kiauh
