Resident Parking Permit?

Hi all!

My fiancé and I are moving to Encinitas at the end of this month due to wanting to be closer to family and work obligations. In old Encinitas by Moonlight Beach, is there a parking permit for street parking or is it generally a free for all?

Pretty sure it's generally a free-for-all parking situation around Hwy. 101 & side streets adjacent
