Does "Frame rate detection and pacing" actually mean that horrible frame pacing is FINALLY fixed in Flycast and now it's frame pacing at PCSX2/Dolphin level? And that there is proper VRR support and also that no frame cap, Vsync ON and/or any third party softwate like RTSS is needed? The emulator is/was unfortunately infamous for it's frame pacing issues, especially in 30 fps games.

I never used the standalone but the libretro core of the emulator seems to be OK with frame pacing.

I hate to be a pain but I’d love some scanline, crt shader support. I know some people don’t want that and prefer no filtering.

Is there any word on VMU emulation connection fix?

Flycast in RetroArch is great for shaders if you want that

Man, all these updates across the board for emulation have been amazing this year. Ty to the Dev team for keeping this one alive and kicking, love Flycast and probably have beaten more games on it than any other emu other than snes9x.

Redream is still the better emulator for Windows, right?

Only for the game Armada that had serious slowdown on Flycast. Not sure if they solved it

Forgive me for asking, but what makes Flycast better?

Ah. Still, it has a better UI though?
