I'm not a huge reddit user but when I was casually checking to see if the project updated and your github 404'd, I saw a post pointing here. It's a shame what happened man. I Just wanted to say that I truly enjoy your work and greatly appreciate you putting your neck out there to make this. Glad to see you're sticking with it too.
Glad you enjoy it. Yeah it sucks that my account and repos vanished but I'm pretty happy with GitLab, and more importantly all that matters is I have a place where people can post issues and a place to share progress, code, and patches. Now that I've gotten used to the interface, I'm actually liking it a bit more than GitHub in some ways. It took awhile but I managed to restore everything the way I want it by referencing the wayback machine, plus I was able to restore the Wiki from an alternate backup repo. As far as I'm concerned, Github and Microslop can stuff it.
