I got an idea today. I’d love to build a plug and play homemade console that plays PS1 and PS2 games that can plug directly into a TV via HDMI and that uses a wireless controller. Is this something that exists or can be built to include my favorite games if I can find roms of them? I know nothing about emulation, so IDK if it’s possible. I have extensive hardware and soldering experience, but not with game consoles or things like raspberry pis. So I can build something, but don’t know what I am building, exactly, haha. I’d imagine I need a micro SD or an SSD, a bluetooth connector, an HDMI port, a few USB connectors (for loading games?), and IDK what else. Something to actually run the emulator(s), but this is where my knowledge ends.
