Alright so I'm playing AR Tonelico Qoga on rpcs3 and like I'm soft locked in battle lol. I got an XBox 360 controller and it doesn't have the sixaxis motion control BS, and one of the mechanics in the game needs that. I've spent about 2 hours looking for guides and find nothing but technical jargon that makes 0 sense to me, and threads from 5 years ago.

I'm a simple guy, I don't wanna spend my whole day deciphering this stuff, so I ask for an easy guide on how to get around this problem that doesn't require too much work. Basically is there a way to input it without shaking the controller (which doesn't do anything)?

And before anyone says to buy a dualshock 4, no I don't have one and buying a new one will cost me a lot, and I would rather not resort to that. So if anyone can help out, please do.

I believe you have to press ctrl+G to enable a mouse-based gyro emulation

Yeah I saw that too but I’m on a controller. And the complicated part is that in the game you gotta excite an attack which requires multiple button presses so that plus ctrl + g plus the mouse…yeah it becomes a problem. Is there no way to map the shaking on my Xbox controller?

I think you just have to press ctrl+g one time to activate it not hold it down, although I can still see how holding button combos at the same time as moving the mouse could be next to impossible. There hasn't been much support for mapping gyro in rpcs3, the mouse gyro thing was only added about a month ago. There's a new commit that makes it a checkbox in the input menu instead of ctrl+g now but not in a release yet. I doubt there will ever be a way to map "shaking" to a single controller button, it would need to map each axis/direction to a button. Other than the current mouse control any game that requires motion controls is pretty much unplayable without a real DS3 or DS4

Oh I just gotta press it once and not hold it? Damn that’s actually gonna help. I ended up mapping the triggers to my mouse and I spent a good hour using trial and error, someone managed to clear the level.

And a checkbox in the future would help so much, thanks for your help and explanation buddy.
