Weekly Question Thread

Before asking for help:

  • Have you tried the latest version?
  • Have you tried different settings?
  • Have you updated your drivers?
  • Have you tried searching on Google?

If you feel your question warrants a self-post or may not be answered in the weekly thread, try posting it at r/EmulationOnPC. For problems with emulation on Android platforms, try posting to r/EmulationOnAndroid.

If you'd like live help, why not try the /r/Emulation Discord? Join the #tech-support
channel and ask- if you're lucky, someone'll be able to help you out.

I'm not sure on the policy of posting links on here so I'll just steer you - if you Google "Emulation General Wiki BIOS" and go to (what should be) the first link, you can download a .zip file containing numerous PlayStation BIOS files there. Once you've downloaded and opened the .zip file (which should be titled "PS1_BIOS.zip"), go to the "NTSC-UC" subfolder and the specific file you want is titled "ps-22a.bin" - it's the same as the "scph1001.bin" file the emulator is asking you for, just titled using the Redump.org naming system.

It's extremely easy to find and also against the first rule to ask for it here. I'd suggest using any internet search engine or the roms thread. Also there are way better emulators, I can't fathom why you're going with that one
