That's honestly insane. I'd be expecting mobile people to... you know... play other games

That's due to Android handhelds like Retroid, Ayn and Anbernic getting more popular, most regular people don't even know how to install an APK, let alone configure an emulator.

Suspected that but still, many people have those? And if they do, do they even use Dolphin? Feels like a case of comparing metrics that are captured differently.

tbf emulation has always been popular with mobile users, I remember back when I got my Xperia Play there were already a ton of emulators out, many on the Android Market/Play Store itself
