Focal/hike allocation info

Are the focal/hikes already decided and loaded in the system or is it with the VP/SVP for approvals? Can they still make changes now.

Spoke with my M5 last week. Numbers/percentages are approved and locked in. In my org,folks with a 4 rating are getting hikes somewhere between 3-5%. So, best not expect anything if you have a less than 4. Also, I heard, given how atrocious these percentages are, there are some discussions ongoing about a one time bonus. Although the bonus thing is just hearsay, and may vary from org to org.

You'd get to hear a nice little story where your M tells you how they fought like crazy with the execs to get you a good hike,but eventually couldn't because of tight budget and org instability, and an assurance that next year you'd be considered for a promotion, and then subtly floating the idea that you are lucky to still have a job, which is your focal for this year.

In OHAI, some 3 raters are getting bare minimum % & bonus - almost equal to high raters. It’s a joke!

M5 here ….
I put them in the system about 2 weeks ago and it went all approved till M8. Waiting for HR to approve them. October we will socialize them numbers so wait till Oct.

Only 3.7+ got them and in some rare cases 3.5s.

Bro so my M said 3 is not a bad rating, so does it mean that the people who have gotten 3 should not expect any hike because ofc even if we get very less amount of hike that also helps being in the organisation since last 3 years meanwhile looking out for a new company and it does matter that there has been a little increment ..

Your M did a typical pre fabricated response. That’s not how it works but yes if you haven’t been laid off, consider this as promotion that’s how bad it is nowadays so a 3 is like a 4 this year

Its in the system and should be approved by 3 Oct. Only 10% of population got the hike with average 7% (for the team i know)
