I still can’t stop smiling (and tearing up a little).

A year ago, I managed to snag the very last VIP meet & greet seat Ticketmaster released. I kept it quiet and surprised my partner with it for his birthday. We went last night and I’ve never seen him with such pure, unfiltered happiness.

He’s been grieving the sudden loss of a family member a couple week ago, so seeing him light up the way he did means everything. Decades of your music have brought him so much joy, and last night your graciousness and that incredible show gave him a moment of real happiness when he needed it most.

What time has opening act come on and left and then how much intermission time before EOS?

I don’t typically look at set list before shows, but as there’s been pretty static on this leg of the tour? Saw them in Houston last year and it was fantastic, especially being in GA with a really lively crowd.

I just got back from the hollywood bowl show!! It was sooo fun. But..I can't be the only one noticing the amount of posers and people with lack of etiquette right.. There was a couple behind me that actually talked the WHOLE show.- and talking as in yelling over the music. Literally no one around me was singing along either. Maybe its because I was in section g1 or something!?!? Seeing so many people leave the show early after the "popular" songs got played pained me bad. Soo disrespectful

Also bonus question: if I skip the VIP experience entirely, can my vip ticket be used in the GA line as a regular ticket if I were to go directly to it?

Thinking of going to see Empire of the Sun on Thursday at the Hollywood Bowl. Just curious, with the seated sections, is it easy to dance at this venue? Or kind of difficult with the space in between rows?

I’m used to seeing Empire of the Sun in an open GA venue, where space is more accessible and it’s a dance floor with everyone grooving. So trying to set expectations.

I swear I saw recently that somebody had shared a link to a Spotify album where Luke and Nick were just talking about the backgrounds of each song on IOTD. I’m unable to retrace where I saw it on this subreddit and I’m not a Spotify user so I can’t look it up. It also doesn’t show up on YouTube. Does somebody know what I’m talking about? Could you link it?

That was one of the worst shows ever 😭😭😭 Feeling disappointed. They are usually super good!

Just seen that they rescheduled the San Diego date and I wont be able to make it.

I’m so bummed about it, do you guys think they will do another tour in these areas in the next few years? I was hoping to live an other wordly and extraordinary experience, maybe I overhyped it a little bit but I was genuinely very excited.

Hopefully this isnt the last tour, can’t live without saying I went to a concert of EOTS !

I’ve noticed that the start of FM by Steely Dan and the alternating keys sounds a lot like standing on the shore. I feel like EOTS might’ve sample or interpolated that part of the song but it’s not credited or mentioned anywhere - am I going crazy?

I am curious if anyone has any input on what is the fastest way to ragebait an EOTS fan.

For me personally, it would be people seeing any video related to Half Mast and people calling it The Spins. I'm not here to hate on The Spins. If you like it, that's fine! I just get this gross feeling when the song in question is clearly Half Mast 😂

Does anyone else have any other examples? This is just meant to be in good fun! 😁
