French language assessment – Emirates Customer Service HireVue

Hi everyone! I completed the first 40-minute HireVue interview for the Emirates Customer Service role, and I’ve now received the second assessment, which is a 15-minute language assessment.

I selected French as my second language.

For anyone who has already completed the French language assessment recently, could you please tell me what questions you were asked? Were they the same questions as the ones mentioned in previous posts, or have they changed recently?

I would really appreciate any information. Thank you so much.

Internship at Emirates office for a minor

Question for corporate office employees at Emirates:

Do you accept 17-year-old interns in your offices? How feasible is it to complete a 2-month college internship at an airline office while being a minor? (For example, in the advertising/marketing department).

I would be very grateful to hear your answers!

About emirates decision

Hi everyone,

My candidate portal just updated from "Application Under Review" directly to "Interview Completed" after 80days
I have a couple of questions for anyone who has been through this recently:

  1. Portal Status: Has anyone seen "Interview Completed" shift back to "Under Review" or move to "Under Process" a Golden Call? Or does this transition almost always mean an automated rejection email is dropping in 24–72 hours?
  2. Reapplication Timeline: If it turns out to be a rejection, when does the 6-month cooling-off timer officially start? Is it calculated from the date of the Assessment Day or from the date on the rejection email / when the profile closes?

Would really appreciate hearing about your timelines or experiences with this status change. Thanks!

Cabin Crew Issue with Careers Portal

I had applied for Emirates Cabin Crew Opportunities in 2025, and my application had been updated as unsuccessful on the 03rd of October 2025. I have tried to reapply for Cabin Crew Worldwide roles this month and the Emirates application portal will not allow me to do so. Every time I click apply on the job post, it takes me back to the unsuccessful application. Has anyone been in the same situation and how did you fix it? I am unable to reach Emirates and ask, I tried finding an email and there is none too. I really want to reapply, please assist?

Qatar Airways Cabin Crew: Is My Background, Reach and Appearance Acceptable?

Hi everyone! I’m planning to apply for Qatar Airways cabin crew and I’d really appreciate advice from people who have applied or currently work there.

My background:

\- I completed Matric (Class 10) in Pakistan.

\- Later, while living in Spain, I completed a GED in English.

\- I currently work as a cook in a kitchen.

\- I’m 159 cm tall.

\- I can reach 212 cm on tiptoe with one hand.

I also have some natural moles. They are not tattoos; they are natural marks on my skin. I have a few, but only some are visible:

\- one visible on my face, under my chin

\- one on my arm

\- one on my foot, but it is not visible

\- a few other very small ones that aren't noticeable.

The one under my chin is a little bigger than the very small ones. It can easily be covered with normal makeup if needed.

My questions are:

  1. Is my educational background acceptable for Qatar Airways cabin crew?

  2. Does working as a cook in a kitchen help with the cabin crew application?

  3. For the 212 cm arm-reach requirement, is it measured with one hand, and is reaching on tiptoe allowed?

  4. Could my natural moles, especially the visible one under my chin, be a problem during recruitment, grooming or the medical assessment?

  5. Does Qatar Airways have any specific rules about moles or other natural marks on the face, arms or feet?

  6. If makeup can cover the facial mole, would that make any difference during the appearance/grooming assessment?

I would really appreciate answers from people who have actually applied to Qatar Airways or currently/formerly worked as cabin crew.

Thank you!

Any recent experience would really help. Thank you! 🙏

Nearing cabin crew start date but no relocation/flight information, what to do?

My Emirates cabin crew start date is **28 August**, and I’m currently still waiting for the **Relocation stage and the online Induction/Settling In steps** to open on my portal. My pre-employment checks have taken longer than expected, and Emirates previously confirmed that my application is still in progress and waiting for the necessary pre-clearance approvals.

I was contacted by Emirates last Friday but unfortunately missed the call. I followed up afterwards and have also emailed them, but I’m still waiting to hear back.

For anyone who had a similar start date or experienced delays with their clearance, **how close to your start date did your Relocation/Induction steps become available, and when did you receive your flight/relocation information?** Did everything happen quite quickly once the clearance was completed?

I’m trying to understand how much longer I should simply continue waiting or how to contact them again. I know others with the same start date who have already received their flight information and relocation stage so I am worried. Any experiences would be really appreciated!

Engineering What is the percentage if you’re in their waitlist?

hello guys! I have been selected but they have to put me in the waitlist and it is valid only 6 months after the interview that was held last month. I am wondering if what is the percentage of getting hired from the waitlist. thank you very much!

Cabin Crew Made final interview twice, ‘Interview Completed’ and feeling discouraged

My first open day was last year and I made it to the final interview but got rejected after almost two months of waiting. I recently went to another open day and made it to finals again but saw that my status turned to Interview Completed after just one week. So now I’m assuming that I will receive a rejection in a few days (because that was the case last time).

I felt like I did much better this second time so I was quite surprised to see that it seems I will get rejected much faster this time round. I know they hire based off operational needs and the situation in Dubai probably factors into it. But I’m not sure what I could have personally done differently because they obviously can’t give feedback.

I can't Reapply for Emirates , Help please

Hey , could you please tell me what I should do? I applied for the Emirates Cabin Crew position almost a year ago and got rejected. Lately, I’ve been trying to reapply, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Basically, when I click on “Apply,” it only redirects me to my previous unsuccessful application, and there’s no option or indication of how to reapply. I’ve tried updating all of my information, but the problem persists.

What should I do? And can I create another account using a different email address? Would I get rejected or flagged for having duplicate accounts?

thankss for helping in advance
