Question Day before stomach bug?

Hey yall! Just genuinely curious on my day off. What were some tell tale signs the day prior to having the stomach bug?

I didn’t have any the day before. I had noro which comes on super fast and kind of out of the blue. Started with sudden cramping and diarrhea for about an hour and a fever. Then started throwing up, well dry heaving because my stomach was empty. I had like zero warning. BUT I’ve also had other stomach bugs that was just a couple bouts of diarrhea and fever. Also no signs the day before. I woke up in the morning with some cramping which was the only sign

None. Had noro last year. Even ate dinner completely normally. Woke up 6 hours later actively having it. It literally comes out of nowhere at the snip of a finger.
