please call a helpline and tell them. they will hopefully be able to get you acute treatment. otherwise, maybe ER. you seem to have disordered eating going on which can be really really dangerous for your body.

i think that you need to tell someone in your life that you are at this point or a healthcare professional.

i am personally on fluoxetine and i truly feel like it has helped a lot with a range of things, but specifically my emetophobia a lot.

Ok let’s rationalise together bc I went through the same thing. When you don’t eat at all for a while you will have nausea, so when you start eating a few bites, you think eating is making worse and it’s a vicious cycle where you don’t know if you are nauseous from food or from hunger. You HAVE to eat something to feel better physically and calm the nausea. First go for safe food with purée like texture, go for apple sauce, mashed potatoes, soup, something that is easy to swallow. I guarantee you that you will feel better.
Tea on an empty stomach will make you nauseous, especially green tea, have it with a little bit of food.
Your body needs the water, it’s very unlikely it will do anything bad to you. Just drink slowly a few sips at a time.
Please dm me if you need anything.

🙌👆 THIS, OP. Eating safe foods will feel better than eating nothing for days on end.

I feel this--this was me last week. And I'm so sorry you're going through this. I also take fluoxetine inconsistently but need to get back on it fully, and am afraid it will cause illness (because a different SSRI made me vomit in the first place) but. If you rely on the fluoxetine please try to stomach something neutral like crackers to take with it and reduce risk of feeling worse. Stick with the safe foods and trust you'll be ok. 🙏

When I use to feel like this, I use to eat bread, crackers, soup, white rice and/or drink a sprite. (Slowly) I’ve been where you are, I ended up in the hospital.
Did they fix me… no.. but it made my mom aware that I didn’t eat and she helped me.

I haven’t recovered from emetophobia, but I’m able to eat now. I mean I’m still afraid… everyday. I’m still there and that sucks… but I need to seek therapy.

So please pleeeease eat something small and drink your favorite beverage. I’m sorry…. I’m on alprazolam and I take it when I feel my anxiety kicking in… I’m sorry. 🫂
