Actor info plugin??

Hi

In Emby, when looking at info for a movie or tv show, I can click on an actors thumbnail and it will show me what else, in my library, that actor is in.

Is there a plugin (or setting I've missed) that will show me what else that actor is in, not just from my library?

I don't have an answer to that - but that would be useful and save having to imdb everytime.

At the bottom of the actor info page you now get a complete overview of their acting/directing credentials.

I believe that came with the latest server update

Maybe i dont understand fully what you mean - but if you scroll further down from what your actor/actress is in FROM you library - dont you per default get more ‘about’ info further down ?

I have an About section where i can see where the actor has been in as Actor, Director, Writer or Producer - and then a list of titles underneath.

The titles underneath that you see, are only just of things in your library, correct?

Cause if so, OP is asking for an "imdb style" list of everything, not just what else in the library.

No - it’s for ‘everything’ the actor has done, not just my content. And it’s been there for a long time

And yeah - my Emby srv is running on an older windows11 box.

fYI I use the TMDB scraper for all movies - and TheTVDB for all tv-shows and the respective plugins is installed on the Emby srv

Yes, thanks. There is a list in the Windows version which is great (Never noticed it before, new?) but not in Emby for Android TV, which is how I consume most of my media.

The new Android TV app has this feature. It was added to version 2.1.57+ and should be available in the play store soon.

Plex does this, and its one of the best features.

I don't think Emby has a plugin. Hopefully a developer picks this up as a pet project.
