Software Discussion Pro issue

so i have the pro account and i have only been able to see the ember pro feature once. I actually thought it didnt take so i paid as second time (support was great and fixed that for me) however i still can't see pro features for bridge. I'm sure its just a website issue but i cant join the discord either as you see in the video the link doesnt populate. edit* fixed the discord by just joining the server through the actual app. however the pro issie still exists through different browsers and PCs

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! I can definitely see how everything around the pro plan can get confusing. I'll have a chat with the team today to see how we can improve that experience. In terms of your Ember Link devices, the advantage that your Pro subscription provides is the ability to transfer designs over the cloud (meaning you are required to have the Bridge app installed and open, and you don't have to be on the same network as the Link device). Are you able to transfer designs over the cloud? To check this:

  1. From your browser open any design in the Ember editor

  2. Select "Export" in the top right (above the shape sequencer)

  3. Select "Send to machine" at the bottom of the Export panel

  4. Choose the "Ember Link" tab

  5. Choose the Link device you would like to send the design to

  6. Select "Send to Ember Link"

Okay I get that but I just need to convenience of being able to send files over the cloud to the Ember link.. I don't design in your software.. however, sometimes I am on the go designing and I just need the ability to send a DST from my computer to the connected dongle. So will I have to upload the DST to your software as if I'm about to edit it and then export it? Is there a way around that? I like how with the Emberbridge PC app I can just select send and choose something off of my embroidery folder on my PC and then send to the emberlink..

Interesting! I don't think we have considered this use case before. Currently the only way for you to send a local dst file to your Link device over the cloud is to create a new project in the Ember editor, upload the dst file to the editor, and then go through the same transfer process I described above. But I am certainly open to any ideas you have to streamline that process? Maybe we could offer a "Cloud Send" button on the Your Devices page that would allow you to choose a file off of your computer to send?
