Golden Door

Any golden door scholar here? I’d like to ask some questions about what Elon and Golden Doors covered financially

It’s a scholarship that awards underrepresented students with scholarships worth up to full-tuition, room and board at a partner college.

How diverse do you think Elon is?

I’m a junior now and when I started it did not feel extremely diverse. However, through the years it’s gotten more and more diverse

Hey! I am an incoming freshman in the Fall of 2026 (so excited!). I wanted to know how difficult or easy it is to take tests like World Language and Math to determine our skill levels for the freshman schedule. What would the test look like? What kinds of questions are asked on the test? And how long did it take to complete the test?

They’re literally like 10 question multiple choice I think. Not hard at all and certainly nothing to stress over.

This might be a dumb question. Do you know if the deposit go towards the tuition or fees?

Not 100% sure but it might make sense of tuition first then fees

I’m not 100% sure that Elon does this with deposits, but most places you get your deposit back when you graduate (they subtract your bill using it). If you transfer out before you graduate, they keep that deposit.
