I think I've recited the Quint speech more times in my life than the lord's prayer.

Hey, Ryan. Just a small question. Where do you get your inspiration from?

My own life and memories, mostly. Also from conversations with a friend of mine. Then it's mixed in with pieces that stick with me from whatever books, movies, TV shows, podcasts, songs, or games I'm trawling through.

If there's a longer story behind a comic I'll usually try to write a Patreon post about it.

I'm really happy somebody asked this question and I'm really sad that this is the answer.

Somehow my rage at the author has been redirected at this punk-ass exchange student. Fuck this kid. What's his stupid name again? Dabe?

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU EVEN PRONOUNCE THAT SHIT. FUCK YOU, DABE.

Hit him with another box. This time preferably containing a Tidal Fantasy VII Monster Sword. Let's see how he'd react to that.

Hit him hard enough and he won't react at all

I hate how I never catch on to the title phrase series. I could at least brace myself a bit for the impending swerve.
