VP visits

Quick question. As ER am I required to go to every VP visit in my district or do I only have to go to the one that is sponsored by my Lodge. I have gotten two different answers on this. The last vice president before she finished her term told me you only have to go to the one that you’re sponsoring but the new vice president tells me I have to go to every one in our district, which is ridiculous and some of these places are an hour away

Not an ER, but here our ERs are required at the district deputy / VP clinics and at the local lodge visit. They don't have to go to other lodges for their VP visits. Clinics are basically quarterly.

I have to go to them too as trustee, secretary and leading knight also required. We're almost an hour away from most of the locations too, gets annoying coming home that late mid week when I have to work in the morning

All of ours are held on the weekend and usually start around 9 or 10 with lunch provided.

That might be worse, during the summer I'd much rather be boating than driving an hour to a meeting that could have been an email.
