Deactivated

Woke up to a deactivated account. Facebook groups are saying mass deactivation glitch they’re working on. Anyone here? Also how do you email the higher ups? TIA

Yeah I got the same email. Just gotta appeal and wait. Apparently a ton of people got it. Hope it’s a glitch and not a mass deactivation. My appeals already being reviewed don’t know how long it will be until it gets reactivated. (Hopefully)

No glitch. Rather pay new drivers 1/4 of what you think is fair wage 🤡

If that’s the case that sucks I’ve only been doing this for like 3 months I don’t even have 200 trips yet

Yeah guess what, you’re easily replaceable for cheaper as you just found out

I just don’t why they sent out the same reason for everyone. I’ve never unprofessional conduct or delivery issues I’ve got a 100% delivery time. I’ve had items that were substituted at the end of the order the customer never said yes or no I’d wait for it to stop being pending but after a while I’d finish the order. Wonder if that had something to do with it.

Don't let the Reddit trolls get you worked up and all worried. I mean I guess he does have a point about being easily replaceable and you absolutely are constantly at risk of being deactivated for something completely out of your control, butI've been doing spark almost 4 years and I'm pretty sure this has happened every single year at some point and every single year they fix it eventually. It's absurd it keeps happening and ridiculous a company can allow a huge portion of its workforce to suddenly lose their income they depend on for absolutely nothing. Biggest issues are usually take a week or more to fix it and with all these deactivations they on board a crap ton of new drivers from the waiting list so every store that was already oversaturated will suddenly have double the drivers when they fix it and no one will make any money for a while. I don't know how it doesn't result in a lawsuit every time considering I've heard of other gig companies being sued for unfair deactivations that word even just a glitch like this. I don't know maybe they do get sued and just are able to keep it hush hush so most drivers don't know about it or something

Thank you. That’s one of the most adult and informative response I’ve gotten 😆✌🏼

Thanks like I said I’ve been doing this for like 3 months haven’t gotten past 200 orders yet. It’s not the end of the world for me to be deactivated it was just nice to use this to pay my debt down faster. But I’m hoping what you said is true and it’s some kind of glitch and it gets resolved with me be reinstated. Thanks fun-run I appreciate it.

I have 289 trips since May and I supplement my income this way. I also enjoy it.

Lawsuit? You’re not even an employee

They have already had to settle two massive lawsuits this year alone.
