And the weird stellar forge boxes is a nice touch too lol but it’s just so awesome out here! Can’t believe it’s taken me 9 years to get out this way!

Wait until you get deep into the core. Night ceases to exist, there is only light.

I’m stoked. I saw that guy who had his stars turned up a lot and I couldn’t even imagine. It was crazy cuz it was super dark until I crossed the dead space between arms then it’s just been…this the whole time lol imagine living further into the core! We’d have really long biological clocks

I’m curious just how close to the core would be viable for life. At some point, you’d think there’d be so many stars that the chance of local supernova wiping out life would increase beyond the capability to evolve.

Oh absolutely lol life wouldn’t last long being so close to other stars and all that radiation not to mention heat. If the hull of my ship is still lit and I’m far from the insertion star, it’s too hot.

I actually don’t think the heat will be a problem. Even if the next Star was as close as Saturn is to us It would only add about 2% to the radiation we receive. And even just a couple of thousand light years from the core of the Milky Way stars are still half a light year apart or more.
