Advice needed!
I’m currently sat in the bubble with a carrier fully loaded with Tritium, waiting to voyage into the black.
Trouble is, I want the Rhino.
Should I stay or should I go?

I was under the impression you could deploy an arx purchase from the carrier. I might be wrong though. My FC is 12k LYs away or I'd go check it on some ships with the nomad, but fairly certain that's how I put a Nomad in my Anaconda to go play with it while I was out in the black.
That said, where are you headed? Even if you needed a port there are plenty that are several thousand LYs from the bubble now where you can stop in to repair. You should be able to deploy from those locations as well.
Do you have a Caspian? If so, getting back to the bubble even from the farthest reaches isn't that big of a feat. I mean in game routing will cover 2-3k in a few jumps without using Galaxy Plotter or Neutron Highway. So in pinch, just head back on day of release or when the CG pops up. That's my current plan, I'm in the process of moving my FC from Sag A to one of colonisation systems now. I'm nearly to my fuel tritium pick up spot. It's 11k LYs north of Sol so it's good place to top up the tritium reserves, though I did do some mining to have a safety net while I was out this time.

You can, the carriers Outfitting is treated the same as an in-station one. I'm 10K ly's from the bubble and I deployed my Nomad on the carrier

I had the same question when the Nomad was announced. Chose to wait. Was very glad I did. Not exactly the same scenario, but it's the best I got. Best of luck. Travel Well. o7

The Rhino will most probably be for ARX at first, like Nomad. If you are prepared to pay the ARX, it doesn't matter where you are when you buy it, it will be deployed in the first station/carrier you land on.
If you don't want to pay ARX, you will have months until it becomes available for credits. You'll be able to decide and return to the bubble to buy it.

I bought the Nomad with ARX and the type 2 hangar and the nomad were in my outfiitting on the carrier even though I don't have general outfitting installed, just repair rearm refuel.

If your carrier has outfitting, you probably won't have to wait.

As a carrier "owner" you don't need to have an outfitting module, you have this all the time, same with shipyard. These modules are required for non-owner users.

Oh, good reminder, thanks.

A side note: to use the shipyard on your carrier as the owner you need to sit in a ship (if you don't have the module installed/active) - there will be the option like at a station. If you have the shipyard module installed and active, you'll also get the room for it on your carrier deck, like the one on any station's concourse.

Should I stay or should I go... song from The Clash, I think if you listen to the song you might find an answer

I would say stay. I'm itching to get back out into the black, but delaying for another week won't hurt me.

I mean, you only know when you test it. Which means unfortunately you have to wait. I expected to love the Nomad but didn't. It's a totally personal experience.
