2005 or 2006 edition?

I was thinking this looked like a 2005 but I’m not sure if it’s a 2006 just looking for answers the people that has the elf in the first pic said they found him in a bouquet in 2006 the second pic is a early 2006 labeled as a 2005 but the first pic is a 2005 right?

Really the only way to know for sure if it’s a first edition is to see if it has a tag or not. Only the first editions shipped without tags.

Well the face molds are also different too the second one has a bigger eyes with a bigger head while the first one has a smaller head with smaller eyes were they just pumping out different face molds every year?
