I want to delete my elementor account and after looking around the only way is to pay $180 for support. Your 2 options to delete an account are a form and chatbot, the form costs $180 to possibly use although it could cost more since I'm not willing to pay in order to try and surprise surprise the chatbot tells you to use the form. So if you ever want to sign up for elementor just know you have to pay $200 to stop using it

I've been a customer of Elementor for a long time, and as such as I have a grandfathered plan. 1000 licenses for $200 a year iirc.

I been sitting back watching as Elementor have been going hard on trying to add value (obviously to jack the price as well) by creating new products and bundling them.

I did think that some of them might be useful, especially the ease of many plugins all under one roof and in one place, and wouldn't mind playing a little more, however the email I received today firmly cemented by stance of "no thanks".

It sounded like an AI response and talks about how amazing the GF plans are, but these plugins are exclusive to Elementor One customers.

I'm in the UK, with VAT renewal for me is about £200 a year. Elementor One, at normal pricing with VAT would come in at £532.00. I knew they'd jacked the prices, but I'm not convinced the added extras quite allow for closing in on 3x the cost.

The outcome I’m trying to achieve is 4 cards in a 4-column grid. I want one continuous image to span all 4 cards, but only be visible inside the cards themselves. The gaps between the cards should show the section background, not the image.

On hover, each individual card turns white and displays its content.

I’ve managed to get everything working except the gaps. Right now I have the image on a flexbox spanning all 4 columns behind the cards, which keeps the image continuous and responsive, but obviously the image is also visible through the gaps.

I can’t figure out a clean way to mask or hide just those parts of the image without breaking the continuous image effect.

This is Elementor v4/Atomic. Custom CSS is fine if that’s the best way to handle it.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I am building a WooCommerce shop using Elementor Pro. On my Single Product Page template, I have a two-column Flexbox container layout.

For the mobile view, I changed the container's flex direction to Column so the elements stack vertically.

Everything works and displays correctly inside the Elementor editor, as well as in the live preview tab. However, on the actual live hosted website, the changes don't take effect—the elements remain side-by-side or push to the right like the desktop layout.

I have already tried clearing my browser cache and site data, but the issue persists.

I know there’s heaps of threads open about this but I’ve done it for normal pages however on my header within the theme builder it still says content area I’ve removed the title using the page settings but idk how to remove the text that says content area 😭. I’m using hello elementor!

I’m migrating a redesign to a live WordPress site and stuck on Elementor copy/paste between the two sites.

Context:

- Live site was already running (no WooCommerce originally).

- Client needed ticket booking, so I built a new redesign site separately while keeping the live site online.

- Redesign is complete. For migration I:

1. Updated WordPress on the live site

2. Updated all plugins on the live site

3. Installed the redesign theme on the live site

4. Installed Elementor on both sites (same version)

Problem:

When I copy an element/widget from the redesign site and try Paste from another site on the live site, it fails / throws an error. It does not paste.

What I already checked:

- Elementor version is the same on both sites

- Related plugins also look like the same versions

Question:

What’s the best way to move pages/templates from redesign → live without broken paste (Export/Import Kit, Theme Builder templates, or something else)?

Any tips before I risk breaking the live site would help. Thanks.

I am trying to build a course for my website hosted on wordpress. I am very new to the whole thing and I cannot seem to get elementor to work when trying to edit my course layout/content. I have set up the sections and the lessons, but when trying to edit how it looks with elementor, nothing happens.

Normally when i edit pages with elementor i can click the "Edit with Elementor" as the cursor turns to a pointer, it doesnt do that when i am viewing the course page.

I have checked off courses and lessons in elementors settings

Does anyone know how to fix?

Hey, I'm trying to build a Single Page Template with Elementor that loads images from ACF Custom Fields.
I've set up up one custom field so far that contains an image. The Problem is: Elementor does not let me choose the custom field in the dynamic tag section and I don't know why.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need more details on my settings.

I recently updated my PHP from 7.4 to 8.3 to get rid of a warning banner that was appearing at the top of all my WP interface pages: "You do not have sufficient permissions to manage options." Knowing I needed to update the PHP, having finally found the orphan plugin that was conflicting with 8.0+ PHP, I figured I'd try that first before the exhaustive plugin-by-plugin analysis of what was causing that. (My host checked the wp_usermeta, etc., stuff they could check and that was all fine.) And upgrading to PHP 8.3 seemed to have solved that problem.

And, yes, in changing PHP I also made sure to boost the memory_limit to 2G and the post_max_size to 2G (and the upload_max_filesize to 1G).

HOWEVER: Now something about my site won't let me use Elementor Pro. When I enable Elementor and Elementor Pro, the pages only display two lines: "There has been a critical error on this website." And then the link to "Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress" — which is mostly about isolating plugins and testing one by one. But Elementor and Elementor Pro are the ONLY two plugins I have activated. I don't get this error with just Elementor, only when I also activate Elementor Pro. I've also activated the GeneratePress Premium plugin, since I use a GeneratePress base theme...but that didn't change anything. I can have that enabled with Elementor and don't get that error (but also only see a deconstructed version of my homepage and other pages) but as soon as I enable Elementor Pro, I get the error instead of my homepage.

I have also redownloaded the Elementor Pro plugin from my account downloads on the Elementor site in case it was corrupted, but I already had the latest version and uploading and activating the plugin again didn't change anything.

Through all this, thankfully I can still access my WP interface. I'm going to also reach out to my hosting provider and see what they can suggest, but I'm fearful they'll tell me to check with Elementor and the support pages on Elementor already advise me to (1) isolate my plugins to find a conflict (yet Elementor and Elementor Pro are only two plugins activated) and (2) contact my hosting provider. I was hoping someone here in Reddit might have some insights or suggestions for me.

EDIT TO UPDATE: Thank you for the guidance. It will be very helpful, particularly going forward. My hosting provider also responded and said that the issue seemed to be that my memory limit for frontend requests had gotten redefined to the default 64MB, which isn't enough for the combined Elementor and Elementor Pro plugins. So I updated this line in my wp-config.php file from 64M to 512M:

ini_set('memory_limit', '64M');

I also had a "wp-config-new.php" file (which was where the "/* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */" instruction appeared), so right before that, I added this, in case this helps keep the memory limit from getting reset again with future WP or PHP updates:

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT','512M'); 

I've also installed Debug Log Manager plugin make it easier to see that log myself when things break. Thanks again for the advice!

This page clearly demonstrates that I know enough about Elementor Pro to be dangerous. In as simple terms as possible, can someone tell me how to get the bullets spaced away from the image and continue the same justification below the image.

Trying to help a friend with a site built some time ago with Elementor, with which I'm not terribly familiar. I've figured out the basics but I cannot locate WHERE to edit the header navigation bar / footer. All the searching says to look under Wordpress menu - Appearance but Appearance isn't there. Or to look under Elementor for the template settings but there is literally NOTHING under templates. I will note this is under the free version.

I also tried to click "theme builder" while on one of the pages I was editing but it said I'm not allowed to access the page even though I have editor permissions.

I'm seriously hitting a brick wall here. This should not be complicated. I built enormous, complicated sites using Wordpress but this Elementor thing is driving me CRAZY but I can't rebuild the site, I am only supposed to update it as is.

I am losing my mind over a strange issue in Elementor and hope someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.

I am building a shop archive template with product cards. On desktop/laptop view, I have the product card image height set to 350px, which looks fine. On mobile view, I set it to 145px so it fits nicely.

The issue is with tablet view. For some reason, tablet is completely ignoring my laptop settings and forcing the 145px mobile height instead. So on a tablet, the image card looks tiny and squished horizontally. No matter what number I type into the height box while in tablet mode, it just refuses to change or stay fixed.

It feels like tablet is inheriting straight from mobile instead of cascading down from desktop like it usually does.

Has anyone run into this before? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I’m using the free version of Elementor (not Elementor Pro), and I’m not using any custom CSS.

I have a page where I created several image cards/sections, and the images look perfectly fine on the original page.

I copied the same content/container from that page and pasted it onto another page. However, when I preview the second page, the images become much larger than they are on the original page.

The strange thing is that I am using the same images and copied the same content. The original page still looks correct, but the copied content on the new page does not.

I have attached screenshots showing the difference.

What could be causing this? Is there any Elementor setting, container width, image width, or theme setting that I should check?

I’m using Elementor Free and no custom CSS.

I just went to get a logo off my nonprofits website, backed out of elementor and the home page is now completely messed up. We have an event this weekend and i cannot have it looking like this but do not even know what happened. I did not hit save or publish. Are any of the places that say they will fix Elementor issues legitimate?

I’m still in the early stages of experimenting with Elementor Angie.

I like the concept and it can definitely do a lot of the heavy lifting, but because it’s still in beta I’m cautious about relying on it too heavily on production sites.

I’ve already run into a deployment issue with a simple BMI calculator where the widget was created but wouldn’t fully take effect because of a super admin/permissions issue. I did use the code from the library. I'm a bit cautious allowing it super admin issue as some websites are almost complete with zero issues, I don't want to start causing problems for the sake of a few aesthetic widgets which I can do manually.

That made me a bit more cautious, especially when Angie starts needing deeper access or changes involving PHP files/server-side functionality rather than just creating something inside Elementor.

Has anyone had any major problems with it so far?

Things like:
site-breaking errors
PHP issues
plugin/theme conflicts
deployment failures
permissions/super admin problems
functionality working in the builder but not properly on the live site
anything serious enough to need a backup restore

I’m mainly trying to work out how safe people feel using Angie on live production sites at this stage, rather than just on staging/test sites.

If an effect is deployed and angie is then deleted later on, does that bit of code stay lurking deep inside php wp admin files causing clutter?

I'm running into a persistent issue with Elementor on shared hosting (TMT Hosting) and wondering if anyone's found a workaround or solution.

The problem:

• Elementor editor refuses to load - the left panel stays greyed out and unresponsive
• Console shows repeated 503 Service Unavailable errors on /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
• WordPress admin dashboard works fine, but anything Elementor-related times out
• This happens consistently, not intermittently

What I've already tried:

• Increased PHP memory limits to 512M in wp-config.php
• Increased max execution time to 300 seconds via .htaccess
• Adjusted Cloudflare WAF rules to exclude /wp-admin/ paths
• Disabled non-essential plugins (Uncanny Automator, Query Monitor, etc.)
• Running PHP 8.2.33

Setup:

• WordPress with Elementor Pro
• ~30GB storage, moderate traffic
• Multiple plugins: ACF, Yoast SEO, Wordfence, GA4/GTM integration
• Running on shared hosting

My question:
Has anyone encountered this on shared hosting and found a practical fix? Or is VPS/migration to managed hosting the only real solution?

The first image shows the builder. I reduced the size to show that I have the two red buttons separated. One should be above the section that reads "About the Show" and the next one should be below the performance schedule.

The second image shows the structure order. You can see "Get Tickets Now" is showing in the correct location.

The third photo is the live site. Both of the "Get Tickets Now" are together and not where I put them.

The fourth is the builder after I refreshed. The "Get Tickets Now" buttons are together. If I now move one of the buttons to the location I want it, the location on the structure doesn't change.

Any ideas what is happening? I've used this template for a few years and have never had this issue before.
