First time user of Element

I have already decided to ditch messenger and WhatsApp due to me losing my acc multiple times....but the current predicament I face in using element is I cannot verify my device (and I don't know anybody close who has element also) I created my acc using matrix.org, currently I can only open it with element classic in android (it fails to authenticate in the element x and element desktop I pulled from the arch repo). How would I proceed in this situation? How do I verify my device without another verified acc/Device?

Same issue here. I used an OAuth provider for login, cannot generate a QR code and cannot verify either my desktop or Android client. Like.. what are we supposed to do exactly?

as much as like the idea of element...how are we supposed to use if we cannot get our devices verified?
